The elevator is almost entirely non functional. Staff didn’t seem to care that we had to take the stairs. Very expensive and I feel the elevator should work.

In order to get to the beach you have to go down 4 floors and walk thru the parking garage and run-down shopping mall.
Pool was very small.

The staff was courteous and friendly. Great recommendations from concierge for dinner. Cost for parking was not included but not gouging.

The suite was spacious. It was Spring break and on the beach. Walls and ceiling are not insulated and paper thin. Cheap construction. Noisy. You can hear voices next door; footsteps overhead. Toilet did not flush. $623/nt for basically an extended stay motel without an ocean view.

I stayed in the heart of spring break, and as the other reviewer said it was SUPER busy, but I will say all the teenagers were respectful. I am a major review reader, so for anyone that stays here, parking was impossible to figure out. You have to park in the public lot and continue to the top of the parking garage. Signage for that was aweful and I am hoping this saves someone else. Also, the elevators are NOT as bad as the reviews make the seem (and remember I was here in the heart of spring break).

I should have listened to Marriott themselves. I booked a four night stay as part of a vacation club trial in exchange for listening to a time share presentation. I was going to be in the area and decided why not give it a go. Thought it was right on the beach next door to nice hotels and there would be plenty to walk to. I ignored Marriott’s warnings about Spring Break. Any time I left my room I was inundated with drunk kids and they were swarming the streets nearby which are all filled with tourist restaurants. I decided to check out early and get an Airbnb because there was also nothing close by I wanted to do except for the beach, which was filled with spring breakers. Marriott sent me like four emails saying it was Spring Break. I did. It understand what that meant. Ultimately, there was nothing else particularly nice or special about the hotel. It felt incredibly touristy and I guess is centrally located if you like tourist stores and restaurants. I will do my homework more carefully next time.

Thank you to the bellman Nigel Steele who helped with my Walmart order. He went out of his way (above and beyond). The rest of the staff was ok but nothing to post names about. We stay at Marriott's all the time and normally have a list of names to thank. The staff never really seemed to want to help. Pool food is edible but not great. Frozen food they heat up. Small pool packed- with most people just holding chairs with towels. Limited activities compared to other places in Florida. Tons of restaurants within walking distance. I see lots of posts about the inter-coastal views but that the hotel cannot control. Tons of construction going on in FLL. Suggestions- add kids activities on Presidents' Week when you know kids are coming. enforce the chair policy and remove stuff after an hour of no one being there. maybe offer a delivery service to like Publix since Uber and Doordash seem to be lost finding this place. Ocean Pointe has a full schedule maybe ask them for a copy.
