The standard room was not very nice the shower was terrible and water went everywhere! The bed was very on even and one side was leaning down!

The property is by the beach and it was walkable (about 0.5 miles) to really nice restaurants.

My daughter and her friends stayed there for college Spring Break. The resort is old and run down a bit, but in general met the needs of college kids. My issue is they charged a 3% fee for using a credit card and a $16 per day resort fee. Neither of these fees are listed anywhere on their webpage. After chasing down the management, they agreed to credit the resort fee if "I feel like I was being ripped off", their words, not mine. I told them I would pay a resort fee if it was disclosed and explained what is included. They refused to refund the 3% credit card fee, stating that all customers must pay this fee if they want to use a credit card. Again, if this fee was disclosed I would pay it - though I have never been charged a credit card fee by any hotel/resort - I stay 100 nights per year on the road. Not professional IMO.

This Hotel needs an overhaul and to be cleaned up. It’s very outdated and has a lot of visible wear and tear everywhere you look. The front desk were friendly but overall it’s expensive for what you get.

We went with another couple for my husband's 50th birthday and received the royal treatment. We were upgraded to the penthouse. The room came with all amenities and then some. When we needed anything, Dave at the front desk was on top of it! He was wonderful to work with and very inviting. The Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar & Cafe had great food and drinks. The pool and beach area was well maintained also.
