Gem of Hotel. Very comfortable and cozy with a private pool and patio area. Close to the beach with chair and umbrella use. Wish there were more small hotels like this instead of all the towering condos. My only complaint was the refrigerator, which did not have a temperature control, and froze all of our food and drinks.

This is an upscale motel with walk out exterior rooms. The property is very small. Upper floors are a walk up. Rooms were very clean, bathrooms remodeled, however our bathtub had a 2 foot base so extremely difficult to get into. My other family did have a walk in shower. Lady at desk for check in very sweet. Expensive area within walking distance to beach.

Avoid this place its tired and tardy our room was a disgrace old damaged furniture curled up rug floor damaged shower damaged........the outside area and pool were fine but hey it all needs to be good

Das Elita ist nach wie vor ein Kleinod unter den ganzen Hotels in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Leicht versetzt in zweiter Reihe gelegen, verfügt es über ausreichend große Zimmer (#1109). Die Klimaanlage surrt leise, alles sauber, das Bett ist bequem und das Wlan stabil. Der Kleiderschrank, der sich elegant hinter einer Milchglasfront verbirgt, könnte bei einem längeren Aufenthalt, oder wenn man zu zweit ist, etwas knapp bemessen sein. Im recht langen und tiefen Pool kann man prima seine Bahnen drehen. Einziger Wehmutstropfen. Das Parken kostet zwischenzeitlich 10$ Ist aber verschmerzbar, da man in den meisten anderen Hotels hier pro Tag 40$ und mehr los wird.

Excellent location, right in the middle of the beach area. Rooms are modern and clean and parking on site very readonable and always available. Pool was good too. Only downside is no food or drink sold in hotel and drinks not allowed to be brought to pool either - would have been nice to have a poolside drink whilst drying off.

Easy access to the beach - but no elevator was directed to room on the 2nd floor by narrow external concrete stairs - please be informed that the place is not too old and not so well run. Got a room that hadn't been used for a while - staff didn't inform you that you didn't get cleaning but had to order towels etc yourself.

The staff was friendly and the hotel had a nice visual appeal. Unfortunately, our room had a very strong odor similar to the smell of mothballs coming from the bathroom. We looked everywhere and couldn't find the source. We complained to the office and they were fully booked so they couldn't move us. The office staff told us they would have someone look at it....never saw anyone. A few things like the toilet paper holder and towel holder were loose on the wall...something that would only take a few minutes to fix. I would go back...if I couldn't find anywhere else to stay.

The 2 bed room does not have room to move easily. I banged my leg several times. Just bad furniture and toilet placement.
