Haven Hotel - Fort Lauderdale Hotel

Short Uber ride from airport. Very clean with comfortable beds. Service was friendly Nice patio in courtyard for eating breakfast. Short Uber ride again to cruise port

I needed a place in a pinch and Haven fit the bill. I arrived late at night, but Ricky met me at the front desk. I was a little nervous because it is a ground floor place and the door had a single lock. The location is a little off the beaten path. In the morning I loved a cup of coffee and some cheerios.

Smallest motel room I have ever stayed in, it looks like it has had a basic overhaul, which is unfinished around the edges. No hot water! On the plus side cotton sheets, plenty of bits for breakfast and lovely people

This hotel is ok for a budget traveler who needs to spend one night there. No dining options in the vicinity. Hotel offers to have food delivered from two restaurants. The food was good, but it took over an hour to receive it. The room was dated, but spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. Location is close to the cruise terminal and the airport

I booked Haven Hotel at 11:30pm after my flight was delayed overnight. As I got into my Uber, I received a text from the property letting me know that they gave my room away. (As you can imagine, not a lot of availability/options at 11:30 at night, day of a reservation with a plane full of people looking for the closest, least expensive option.) They offered a room at their sister property, Vacation Inn, which was next door. Everything about the experience was unpleasant and I regret not just sleeping on the airport floor instead.

Do NOT stay here! If I could give this 0 stars I would. We booked it from our vacation program without seeing photos - HUGE MISTAKE. However, we probably would have been misled by the photos from their website anyway because they are not at all like what our room was, nor was the office. It felt like we were walking in an alleyway to get to our room. It was located off of a main busy road and in a major industrial area. As we got to our door, the first thing we noticed was the torn awning..We walked in and the feel we had was "this is a pay per hour" hotel (actually a motel) and it smelled like mildew/mold. We were so tired after flying all night that we decided to go ahead and sleep for a couple of hours. Once we woke up and really looked around we decided we could NOT stay here one more night let alone the rest of the day. There were no plugs in the bathroom to get ready. The shower had been caulked instead of regrouted and it was peeling all over the wall. It smelled of a boys locker room. Most of the blinds were closed and the tilt wands were missing. But the absolute MOST DISGUSTING thing was the flosser we found under the sheets. No way were those sheets changed regularly. We got out of there as quick as we could.

It was a place to stay. Staff was very nice and room was clean. On the negative side, noisy, couldn’t make it dark in the room.

Old property but being updated. Not much to do close by. Okay for the price. Staff were friendly.
