Poor service no breakfast room not clean

This hotel was not as expected. On a Friday night there was only one person working so checkin took over 15 minutes. The pool was closed, which was one of the selling points of this hotel. The cleaner used in the main areas had a very strong, almost sour smell. I also booked on Orbitz for over $200, and the others in our party booked rooms directly for around $110 for the night. The breakfast on weekends does not open until 7, unlike weekdays at 6. We were in town for a meet and the delayed breakfast made the morning more rushed and challenging. Overall, finding I overpaid for this hotel, the service was rough, and the key amenities we desired were either unavailable or inconvenient, I would not recommend this location.

Carpet in room was filthy, bathroom door would not close and wallboard and plaster in bathroom was cracking and falling off. The lighting in the room was very poor. The sign stated it was a best Western Plus so we checked in to find it did not even meet the standards for a Best western. Never stay here agaim
