When we arrived, the hotel was having a problem reading cards, so we had to fill out a paper form, that was no problem. They tried to put me in a king room, but I booked a double queen for the purpose of extra space for our stuff (we were there for a wedding and had extra things). They initially printed a king paper for me to sign, which I told them I booked a queen, the manager rudely looked over and told me “they only guarantee a bed type by booking on **********, not a room type.” I explained I booked a queen and they assigned a king, not the same bed type, and she was not happy to change it. When changed, I don’t think they had the room checked because if you look at the picture attached, the bathroom floor had stuff on it. It felt gross, so I had to wear shoes every time I was in the bathroom. The rooms do take a key in the slot to work the lights, so that is nice that they were trying to conserve electricity, but I think it messed up my husbands key, so he went down to get it rekeyed, and they told him he needed both. I was already doing wedding things out and about, so I had the second key, which he explained, but they gave him attitude about him not having both. The breakfast was quite sad for the price of this hotel and the breakfast hours were very short, especially for weekends. We will not be staying at an avid hotel again.
