Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Worth Southwest (I-20)

The 1st night I was there I was booked into a room that had not been cleaned. The lady at the front desk got it fixed real quick and got me a different room. I ended up booking an extra night and when I came back someone had already *****ped the room after I asked not to. The lady at the front said she would tell them to wait about 30 minutes since I had just gotten food and needed to eat. As soon as I got up there I heard a knock on the door and it was housekeeping to finish the room. I ended up having to eat in my car so she could finish cleaning the room. Later that night a saw a bug crawling on me… not a big deal because it was just one. (Or so I thought) I smashed it really quick and I thought everything was good, but then several started coming from nowhere; crawling on me, the bed, the table, etc. I immediately went down stairs where I told the lady. She acted as though I was lying or that I was the one that brought them in. I was tired and didn’t want to argue with her. I simply told her everything was fine until after the I left earlier that day. I didn’t bring anything new in and I hadn’t been anywhere that had bugs. She then put me in a different room and said nobody else had complained. I was staying there because the location was extremely convenient for what I was doing. I’m pregnant and I’m high risk. It was down the street from the hospital I was having to go to to get checked out. That’s where I had been that day and she made me feel like I was dirty and that I had brought them in. I was already stressed and emotional from the testing I had been doing that day and her lack of empathy really showed.

Staff was excellent! Liked the breakfast too. Didn’t like the room. It was remodeled, dirty no plug in sink. Bed was not comfortable. Could be better.

A little out dated, but was clean and comfortable.

overall i would stay again. The staff was professional and attentive. The room was mostly clean it's just that the hotel is dated and needs refurbishment. I liked how quiet it was.

Peeling wallpaper in bathrooms and hallways. Door does not close properly. Very late housekeeping (4:45pm), forgot to take out trash every day, forgot to replenish coffee almost every day, not enough towels every day. Broken pancake machine. Poor breakfast. More often than not the front desk is unattended.

Everything went very smooth. Staff was very Friendly, room was clean. Breakfast was very good and kept very stocked and cleaned. I would stay there again next time in Fort Worth.

Our room had a terrible musky odor and the bathroom was in poor condition. We were put in a handicap accessible room which we did not request and the bathroom floor appeared to have dirty glue or caulking all over the tile. The caulking around the shower was very messy. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy and rattled really bad when it would kick on. Very disappointing quality for a Holiday Inn.

The only thing I noticed when I walked in the room was a dead black cricket which stayed underneath the bathroom sink. The next day the maid refreshed my room but, didn’t sweep the cricket. I did find a nice young lady maid and she quickly got rid of it. Everything else was wonderful including the staff and breakfast.
