Residence Inn Fort Worth Cultural District

Situated next to a busy rail route. Floor in bathroom needs complete re-do. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty.

We stayed on the second floor. It appears the entire floor is sloped. It's especially noticeable from inside our room. We walk downhill to go from the living room to the bedroom. The floor is so sloped and slanted! It's also slanted the other way, away from the window. Our bed seems to be at the low point of the suite. The tile in front of the sinks is busted, so when you step on it, it gives. The whole flooring is a mess! The toilet doesn't flush half the time (you have to hold the flusher down), and the shower takes forever to heat up and you can't pull the shower pull up all the way. One of the two burners doesn't work. The bedroom door doesn't latch, and the lock on the bedroom door doesn't work anyway. There is insulation popping up above the washing machine. When we went down to the pool, it was foggy and my son said the water smells. Speaking of smells, all of the bath towels smell like burning petroleum or something, so I assume their dryers aren't working right, either. There are two elevators, and one is currently broken. Everything is broken! Don't they have an engineer on staff??? The sloped floor is probably the most concerning, though. They must have serious foundation issues or something. Two stars just because everything is clean and the front desk staff is very nice.

Fav place to stay when I'm in Ft Worth

Everything was actually clean, even the pull out bed. No weird stains. Bathroom was very well cleaned also. The road noise was unfortunately loud on the side we were on in room 233, but we turned on the ac fan and it wasn't so bad. Overall we will definitely stay agin. The regular king suite was easy for my daughter to turn her power wheelchair around in comfortably. Close to Dodson Cooks Specialty Clinic and Cooks hospital for those having to stay for appointments. Great parking also.

The hotel altered our reservation without informing us, shifting us from a king bed suite to a queen bed. Despite the courteous front desk, they were unable to address the issue. Unfortunately, we did not scoped out our room before our festivities. Upon our return, we discovered stained sheets and pillowcases. Conveniently located near 7th, it suits the area well but wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Well-located between downtown Fort Worth and the Cultural District, but tucked away on a back street that offered quiet and access to a park. Friends brought their dogs and had a nice place to walk them. Friendly and efficient staff, comfy clean rooms. Would stay there again! Highly recommended!
