I found Azalea B&B through a hotel site and decided to stay there based on the high ratings. We drove over from Dallas, and the Azalea was easy to find, with plenty of parking in the back. It's not the greatest neighborhood, but very accessible to downtown. Martha and her husband are wonderful hosts. She was very solicitous of our needs and easy to talk to. Breakfast had a homemade feel, and there was a lot of it. The meat-free egg dish was appreciated (there are multiple dishes on rotation). The room was well laid out, with lots of antiques. The large bed was comfortable, with an overhead fan, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The bathroom had a full jacuzzi tub with a shower, and my wife mentioned the full size makeup mirror. Comfortable! I would certainly come back.
