Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all amazing, all of them were happy to go the extra mile for you whatever the request, in perfect English no less. The facilities were great, although the pool area could get a little crowded on busier days. The rooms were very spacious, the air conditioning was extremely good, although the decor was a little dated. Room service food wasn't great but when is it ever? A great location, right across the road from what felt like one of the safer areas on the beachfront.

Hotel excelente. Não hesitem em escolhê-lo para se hospedar. Os quartos são estilo flat, possuem sofá, pia, guarda-roupa, frigobar, varanda e banheiro. Instalações boas, dois elevadores com cartão de segurança. Café da manhã excelente e ambiente aconchegante. Funcionários muito profissionais. Well located hotel, with large facilities with beautiful carnaval decor (we were in the carnaval hotel), 3 elevators, being a panoramic, with business center, restaurant, lobby bar, event rooms, swimming pool, sauna academia, massage providing a good stay to your guests. The wonderful breakfast, with congratulations to Claudia (A&B) always very educated, nice and dedicated and its very cordial, affectionate, courtesy team: Dangelo, Patricia, Irion, Marcos, Nadia and Marilene (this makes omelets and tapiocas delicious and always with a The Norma and Ivone rooms, careful and gentle, large room with king size bed, TV with various channels, and good Wi-Fi.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years, and every year, the condition gets worse. The rooms are very old and tired and in need of renovation, as they haven't done anything to the rooms in the 20 years I have been going there. The swimming pool is not working and is closed, I was told that is has been out of commission for 7 months now, and they still haven't fixed it. But they will charge you extra for a room with a pool view that is closed, what a joke! They have now closed the restaurant, and they are now serving the breakfast in a back room on the floor above.The breakfast at the hotel was once good, but now they have cheaped out on everything with not that many choices, they even water down the scrambled eggs to a point that it is just a sloppy soup that you almost need a spoon to eat it with! There is always at least 1 of the elevators out of order, I was coming from the 2nd floor to the lobby when I got stuck in the elevator. The elevator was stuck about 3 feet from the lobby floor and had no ventilation, I tried to push the alarm button, but it didn't work, and there was no telephone in the elevator either to alert someone that I was stuck in the elevator, which was a little scary! I managed to pry the inside door open and noticed the cables that carry the elevator from floor to floor were in very poor condition and frayed, just an accident waiting to happen. I found a latch on the outer door, and I was able to pry that door open just enough to squeeze through and jump down the 3 feet to the lobby floor. I told the guy at the front desk what had just happened, and he was on the telephone right away, calling someone. I went to the store, which is 3 doors down, and I was back within 10 minutes. He informed me that the elevator was now fixed, and they had a company come in and fix it, I said in 10 minutes? He just shrugged his shoulders! The elevators have not been inspected and in need of maintenance, and they are very dangerous. I will never return to this hotel again, and I would recommend that if you are planning to visit Fortaleza, you look for a different hotel. There are many nice hotels available in the area, but this is not a nice hotel by any means!
