Sheraton Shunde Hotel Reviews

I booked a last minute stay with Sheraton Shunde Hotel as my plan returning to GZ delayed. I find the location is not ideal as firstly it is right in the middle of no where, and there is no convenience stores any near to it. The nearest store is about 400m away which you have to walk past a park that is really dark and feel unsafe at night. Recommending the hotel to have convenience store vendors so that it will be more accessible for guests. Secondly, the air-conditioning in the room is terrible. Despite setting it to the lowest, the room temperature remains at the same and warm throughout the night. As its only a night and we are too tired, we didn't make any feedback directly on it. However I will have to compliment on their service staffs especially Mr. Tyler Hou who assisted me on my request and even helped me to place order on his ** app. The other staffs are also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I really appreciate their helpfulness and excellent service rendered. Keep it up! And do take thr River View room as it comes with a small balcony with splendid view! Loving this as a plus point.

Expected more from the Sheraton name however seems that this hotel is an old one. However, rooms are still very clean and comfortable, toilet is great as well.

Amazing service. Ann at the front desk always makes me feel welcomed. We encountered a minor issue with the room and Ann upgraded us to a suite. It turned out to be a little honeymoon when we got fruit and a bottle of wine. It was perfect ❤️ thank you Ann! I always look forward to seeing you when I go back to Shunde

Thanks for Amy's thoughtful service attitude at the front desk when checking in. She provided very helpful information about the hotel and its surroundings. Her service is quite professional which really makes people feel that we are not only guests but also family members.

1. I checked out of the hotel at 1pm and still haven't received my deposit back, 7 hours after checking out. 2. The aircon in room my to was broken, meaning the hotel are not checking theses simple things. We had to move rooms at midnight. 2. They only have 4 sunbeds by the pool, meaning if more than 4 people are at the pool people have to share the sunbeds. What are the management doing to miss such a simple thing as to put more sunbeds by the pool?! 5. Ridiculously the pool closes from 11:30 to 2pm, the hotel said this is due to cleaning but actually it is because staff go on their lunch break. 6. The lockers smell. Meaning nobody the management have not put a simple checking policy in place and are also to cheap to put deodorants in the lockers.

Great location and excellent service. More attention should be paid to cleanliness and general maintenance as expected of such a big brand.
