"The facilities are outdated and the cleanliness is abysmal. There was a black stain right in the middle of the bedsheets—absolutely disgusting! As it was already late at night when I got back to the hotel after a concert, I decided to just bear with it until morning, and had to wipe everything down myself with wet wipes over and over again. I had arranged with the duty manager, Kay, to handle this issue upon check-out. To my surprise, this "distinguished" duty manager played hide-and-seek and was nowhere to be found. The other front desk staff claimed she "went upstairs and couldn't come down," and they tried to brush me off with a small souvenir, showing zero sincerity or professionalism. To top it all off, she repeatedly harassed me using her personal phone afterwards, which is completely outrageous! The water pressure in the shower was unstable, and the temperature would suddenly spike, becoming scalding hot. I checked other negative reviews and saw this has happened many times, which shows the hotel has never taken guests' feedback seriously from the start. In the end, Ctrip's customer service stepped in and resolved the issue. This hotel falls completely short of InterContinental standards. Terrible, terrible, terrible!"

The room we booked had a 2-meter king bed and a 1.35-meter bed, perfect for a family trip. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the mattress was just the right balance of soft and firm. The hotel's Chinese restaurant on the third and fourth floors serves delicious food; we had both dim sum breakfast and lunch there. Even the local taxi driver I met told me the hotel's dim sum ranks among the top five in Shunde! Hotel guests get a 10% discount, highly recommended!!!!"

"The room was generally clean, but the details could use improvement. There was a lot of hair in the shower drain in the bathroom, which the cleaning staff clearly hadn't removed, leaving it for the next guest. When I showered at night, the water backed up 😔. The grout in the tile corners was quite dirty, and I'm not sure if it was just stubborn stains. There were also yellow marks under the sink faucet that hadn't been scrubbed clean. The sliding door to the balcony only closed halfway because it was jammed. The balcony felt a bit too close to the corridor opposite, which made me feel a bit unsafe at night. On the plus side, the air conditioning was cool enough and wasn't blowing directly onto the bed!"
