Hotels in Ancestral Temple/Lingnan Tiandi, Foshan

This Atour hotel is the only one I've stayed at that had hygiene issues. At the lobby bar, there was a glass pitcher. When I checked in, I went to get a glass of water and noticed the lid wasn't properly closed, and there were small black bugs flying around the water. It looked really dirty. When I checked out, I was waiting for my car there, and the pitcher still didn't have its lid on properly; there was no water, just cucumber and lemon left. It left a very bad impression. And in the room, as soon as I entered, I was about to boil some water and saw there were many tea stains on the countertop, and the cups were moldy. I really wanted to contact the front desk then, but I was too lazy to bother. Other than that, everything else was good.

Facilities: Generally well-maintained. Hygiene: Mostly acceptable, but the air conditioning vent and the bed runner were noticeably dirty. The bedding itself was clean, so I'd prefer if the hotel just removed the bed runner altogether. This needs improvement. Environment: Street view. It's located right above Baidun City Mall, which has many restaurants. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and the Guangfo Metro station is also right below. Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi are nearby, making the location very convenient. Service: Staff attitude was very good.

Definitely worth a stay in this city., lucky to got an upgrade to this room. at my arrival~ The bed is comfy, with both soft and harder pillow being provided. The breakfast comes with a fantastic range of choice, even have wontun noodles and congees freshly made for customers. I also love that they had vanity kits prepared for ladies. Overall, i think it’s a must-stay hotel if you have just the right amount of budget! A good hotel really ease a lot of worries and make my trip perfecto 😍 That said, i wish a foldable mirror could be provided so i don’t have to do my makeup in the bathroom😭

This stay far exceeded my expectations; both the service and facilities were impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in and check-out a breeze. They proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions and dining, answering all my questions quickly and making me feel very welcome. The room facilities were well-maintained and new, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi signal was stable, great for both work and entertainment. The biggest surprise was how quiet the hotel was at night, despite being right next to the South Plaza and Zumiao commercial district. It's cleverly tucked away from the main road, and the soundproofing in the rooms was excellent, truly offering a peaceful retreat in a bustling area. With such thoughtful service, complete facilities, and an incredibly affordable price, the value for money is absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend it with five stars!

Facilities: The fridge and microwave were both fully functional. Environment: Extremely convenient. It's located right downstairs from the Baidun City building, very close to the subway station. Across the street, there's a shopping mall and Lingnan Tiandi. The location is excellent. Service: The service was very responsive. The front desk replied immediately to all my messages.

I chose this Hilton for my trip to Foshan this time, and overall, the value for money exceeded my expectations. It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway, and a ten-minute taxi ride to Lingnan Tiandi, so getting around is very convenient. The huge fish tank in the lobby is really photogenic, the room was spotless and spacious, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk and switchboard staff were all very polite and responsive to requests. The breakfast selection was rich, with authentic Foshan changfen (rice noodle rolls) and congee, all tasting great. The hotel also has its own swimming pool and children's playground, making it suitable for both business trips and short getaways. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for several years, so some of the furniture shows a bit of wear, and replenishment speed during peak breakfast hours was a little slow. However, considering the price, service, and amenities, it's a great deal among five-star hotels in the city. It would be hard to find another hotel with such comprehensive facilities at a similar price point. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Foshan.

This is an older hotel, and while the rooms are a bit dated, they're quite spacious. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is generous with a good variety of options. It's also conveniently located close to many attractions, making it a great base for exploring!

Loved my stay here! The lake-view room offered stunning views of Yayee Park and a distant glimpse of Foshan TV Tower. The room was spacious and bright, with smart controls that were easy to use. It was impeccably clean and tidy, and the hot water was plentiful and consistent. Plus, the minibar drinks were complimentary! The hotel is very thoughtful; on the 13th floor, next to the laundry room, there's a scenic corridor where you can relax and enjoy the view while waiting for your clothes. Breakfast was also high-quality, a great blend of Western and Chinese options. They even had local Foshan specialties like Chen Cun noodles and Lun Jiao cakes, alongside toast and salad. I didn't have time to try the gym or the infinity pool this time, but I'll definitely make sure to next visit. The front desk staff and the manager in black were incredibly genuine and attentive, patiently answering my questions with a smile. They even recommended Qixiangji, a local chicken restaurant, which turned out to be fantastic!
