Hotels in Qinghui Garden Resort/Shunde OCT Harbour Plus, Foshan

The service was excellent, and I was very satisfied. The hotel's location is also great, right near Qinghui Garden, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The room was very clean. Even though it's on a main street, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and I slept well.

This was my second stay, and it was just as great as the first. The B&B's location is excellent, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. This time, we stayed in the garden duplex twin room again, and my older child came along and loved it too. We stayed for two nights, and after checking out, we tried the Southeast Asian restaurant next door, which I heard is also a popular spot in Shunde. Showing the B&B's room key gets you a discount, and the front desk lady kindly let us keep the room key for our meal, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

Facilities: Quite new. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Very good. Service: Excellent. They helped dry my washed clothes and delivered them to my door. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively asked if I wanted to switch to a garden-view room. The pillows are good; I even use Atour pillows at home.

The room was very spacious, with plenty of room! Huazhu Hotels (H World Group) brands never disappoint! Right across from the hotel, there are so many delicious restaurants – you could eat at a different one every day for a week and still not try them all. It's incredibly convenient, and Qinghui Garden is right next door.

The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and tidy, with excellent service. A special shout-out to the security guard at the entrance who, despite the rain, helped me with my luggage to the car without an umbrella!. The Morning Tea, lunch, and dinner at Xiangyunxuan Restaurant are all delicious, especially the Shunde fish head chicken with preserved vegetables and the purple perilla river prawns – they're fantastic! The Lunjiao cake, however, is sometimes authentic and sometimes not. Regarding the restaurant staff, some wear masks and some don't. The chefs also vary, with some wearing hats and some not; I didn't see any chefs wearing masks.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and very polite. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had ample hot water, and the soundproofing was good, so I wasn't disturbed by hallway noise. The public areas were tidy and elegant, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh items. Excellent value for money, it's my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

Exceeded expectations, it was great! The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly. What really stood out to me was that all the service staff could sit while working, which I think is excellent. I believe all hotel front desks should encourage sitting, there's no need to stand all the entire time. The bar on the 20th floor was very stylish, and the birthday decorations that the hotel helped arrange in advance were also lovely. The pool was very clean too. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is quite new with decent facilities and a good location right on the pedestrian street. However, during our stay, there was ongoing municipal construction in the area. My room faced the construction vehicles downstairs, and the noise started as early as 6 AM. I wouldn't recommend this area for light sleepers; it's just too noisy. Also, being a new hotel, the room still had a slight smell, and the bath towels shed a lot of lint – I'm not sure if it was a quality issue or a cleaning problem. Hotel service was okay, but breakfast was very mediocre.

👍 Pros: As expected from an international brand hotel, it's definitely worth the extra 200 yuan compared to nearby hotels. The service is exceptional; as soon as we arrived, staff helped with our luggage to the front desk, and at checkout, they proactively assisted in loading our bags into the taxi. The front desk staff were professional and managed to attend to every guest despite being busy. I was also lucky enough to get upgraded to a lake view room on my first stay. Based on these excellent services alone, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Although the hotel facilities show signs of age and some fading, the cleanliness is a world apart from hotels in Shenzhen costing 500-600 yuan. This level of quality would easily cost over a thousand yuan per night abroad. 👉 Areas for Improvement (Dining): The breakfast offers a wide variety and looks appealing, but the taste could be improved; it felt a bit wasteful. Also, the restaurant is clearly understaffed, with the congee station often unattended. The chefs' attitude was also rather mediocre. 👎 Major Deductions (Pool): The worst part of the entire hotel is the swimming pool! I suspect the hotel outsourced it to other coaches for swimming lessons, likely to generate revenue. They require swim caps but don't provide them to guests. The pool only has three lanes, and one is given over to the training class, with extra students even encroaching on the remaining two. The pool lighting is very dim, and for a hotel of this caliber, there's no staff or attendant at the pool entrance. As a guest, I felt like I was being treated poorly, having to make way for the swimming students. It's important to remember that a major reason I chose your hotel was for the pool, and the experience was utterly disappointing!

Great location, well-equipped facilities, and attentive service. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The self-service laundry room was a huge plus, very convenient for summer travelers. The surrounding area offers easy access to transportation, dining, entertainment, and shopping. The service was thoughtful and responsive to all requests. Suggestion for improvement: The treadmill is quite noisy, which might affect nearby rooms.
