Beautiful room in the Junior Suite overlooking the harbour and out to sea. We were absolutely delighted as our 29 year old daughter had a small annex off the main bedroom, which we didn't expect. We thought she would be in a pull out sofa/bed next to our bed. The hotel is owned by a large group of hotels, so it doesn't have that exact personal touch, but the staff were very good and were so nice and accommodating, so I cannot fault anything. Breakfast and dinner were standard, nothing special, but still good food, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was included but it was continental breakfast and if you wanted a cooked breakfast like eggs it was 10 pounds extra, or a full English was the same price. Hannah was great in reception and very welcoming. There was a guy on at dinner and breakfast the first day and he was excellent and running the place, plenty of ham at the continental breakfast. The 2nd morning was a bit chaotic and service was slow, there was no ham and the lady on duty said that they had run out and it was the Monday of a bank holiday, there was salami and cheese there though. We didn't complain, but it was evident that there was something wrong with staff, going by the body language of some and chatting. Food was scarce and slow to refill basics like butter and white bread etc,,
