Earthbox is the perfect place to stay in Friday Harbor. Very walkable. Great vibe all around. Friendly, efficient staff. Comfy beds and linens. Pool is perfect temperature and hot tub is big! We've stayed twice and will return many more times.

The staff is wonderful! Our room was very clean and welcoming. After chatting with the front desk I quickly learned that the new owner and staff at this hotel have a, “Please give us feedback so we can improve and make this place even better” attitude. I inquired about adding some coat hooks and room darkening curtains-they are already in the process of installing the coat hooks. I got the impression that the management and staff operate like a seamless team. I felt valued and appreciated. Great place, great people.

Very cute office and super sweet lady at the front desk! Came to show my new bf the harbor and whale watching park as it’s one of my fav local places to visit and had a good time :) Very cute room and setup. SUPER quiet as it was the off-season so that was cool. I love that it’s not a large chain company, feels a lot more personable. Pleasant stay and would stay here again :)

We picked Earthbox In specifically because they have a heated indoor pool, as we were traveling with kids. Our experience was exceptional! Clean, spacious rooms and an easy self-check in process. They accommodated our requests for early check-in, as well as late check out which was greatly appreciated as we have special needs family members. Sonja in the office was helpful and knowledgeable of the town. Also, Kitti in housekeeping went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and welcome during our stay. The location couldn't of been more convenient, and we loved the restaurants we tried within easy walking distance. JP's was particularly great, and located right across the street from Earthbox. We are already planning our next trip to Friday Harbor and Earthbox, and looking forward to trying their rooms with kitchenette next!

It is just a Motel . Easy remote checkin . Clean but outdated. Keep in mind you check in after 4 and you need to get out at 11. So, you are there only 19 hours. Area around it is spooky,

Easy access to the room, rooms were nice enough and the beds were really comfortable. The tv's are rather small and the barthroom floors need to be fixed up a bit, showing cracks. Lastly being woken up at 830 by house keeping was kinda frustrating since check out time is 11am and the hotel was not full at all. Other then that was convenient location to everything and a close drive to the ferry.

We enjoyed two nights here in mid-October. The location is walkable to most of Friday Harbor. We parked in front of our room, and appreciated the presence of an EV charger. Room and pool areas were clean. Staff are pleasant and available. We didn’t like hearing the gas powered leaf blower go on and on, but it was during the day and the grounds do look well cared for.
