Amazingly built property!
The hosts are wonderful and make you feel at home. They take care of your each dietary needs. There are a variety of options available in the house. I couldn’t be more impressed. Claudia and her family are super warm. I wish I could have stayed here more.

This is a very pleasant property a short distance from downtown Friday Harbor.
The rooms are very clean and perfect for a couple to enjoy a little getaway.
The breakfast changes regularly and there is something absolutely delicious for everyone from freshly made apple bread with a cinnamon sugar crust to egg cups.
Almost best of all is the setting. You’re down a country lane and are surrounded by rural nature. You can feed the goats and alpacas and sit outside in a variety of garden locations and watch gigantic bumblebees work the heather.
We came back from a dinner in town to a symphony by thousands of frogs, a dark sky and brilliant stars.

Super peaceful place to stay with the nicest hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. Seemed like most rooms were filled as it was a busy travel weekend, but didn’t feel overly crowded and still felt plenty of privacy. We definitely plan to come back.

Had a fantastic stay here at Trumpeter Inn! So glad I chose this place. Claudia, the host, was very helpful, good in communication with my particular situation. Loved the rooms, they are charming, and bathrooms are all upgraded. Two larger rooms had a fireplace! Very nice touches from the Ferrero Roche's, to the Croissant bread, to the sparkling flavoured water, to the cookies, and the quality tissue paper! They do not skim here, they treat guests like their family. And oh, did I mention the amazing home cooked hot breakfast in the mornings, and their wonderful coffee !! Book a stay here, you will not regret.

Tyrone and Claudia were amazing, hospitable hosts. We felt right at home. The breakfasts were wonderful, as were the afternoon delectable treats. We had great conversations and they had many suggestions and recommendations for highlights to see and restaurants to go to. We even had the opportunity to feed their goal and alpacas. We hope to return someday and highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Excellent stay on San Juan Island! Bay Laurel room was beautiful, quiet & super comfortable. The small deck was a great touch. Loved all the details, super soft luxury sheets, chocolates by the bed, phone charging clock, sitting chairs. Great communication with host, special diet accommodated with no problems, mini fridge in kitchen, coffee/tea + snacks available, peaceful location.

Absolutely loved the quiet neighborhood and the beautifully landscaped property. We loved all the quiet sitting areas in the arbor, near the pond and the alpacas and goats.
The only thing we missed was a chair in our room. Was very difficult to put on and take off our hiking shoes sitting on the bed.

Claudia was so personable & attentive to the needs of her guests. This was truly my best b&b experience ever!!! Must mention the precious alpacas behind the main house!
