This hotel is definitely overrated. Starting with horrible service at reception. We booked a week in this hotel and paid extra for a superior room with a sea view. Before arrival, we emailed the hotel asking for a double bed as we are a couple and obviously dont need a twin room. We both work at front office for years and therefore know how this works. We got a response that it was based on availability , which is true but when a request comes in earlier, you note it down for a guest. When we arrived we got a horrible standard room with twin beds. The linen looked and felt cheaper than 2 euros. The bed was broken and was not fixed till I had to go to reception for the 4 th time. All the furniture in the room is cheap. rooms look nothing like the pictures btw. Also, there are barely any amenities, just towels, shower gel, and soap. The shower was horrible aswell, the water always came out since the drain was probably clogged. Breakfast and food facilities in general were good. A lot of options and the staff there was good. The happy hour doesn't apply to cocktails which is just funny. The waiters are very nice but they did mess up the order 3 out of 6 times when i ordered a cocktails. It wasnt such a big problem tho cause they changed it. Funny how food outlets have more hospitality than reception. The indoor pool was too cold. 30 degrees only. which is definitely not typical for an indoor pool. The location was quite convenient. Close to the beach and many restaurants. quite a few shops around aswell. While few aspects were good, the horrible customer service at the front desk and the disappoin**ent of the room were too much. There was no willingness to help from employees and mostly ignorance unless you speak up when you are at the desk. I know there are many tasks to do at the desk but when the guest approaches, you put everything aside or at least acknowledge the guest is there and ask them to wait a few seconds. If you can't do that, change your job. My boyfriend also asked for extra amenities to decorate the room as it was a trip for our anniversary and he only got a response with prices, when he wanted to pay he was told he can do it at the arrival. of course that did not happen, and neither did any decorations.
