"It has enormous potential given the location directly on the sea and at the entrance to the AP 7 national road, unfortunately it is a very dated structure. Furniture from around 25 years ago although in good condition, does not offer any courtesy set, bedroom and bathroom although spacious are bare, basic minimum. Courteous staff, clean rooms, basic breakfast with low quality products. Good value for money for the time of year."

"The experience of staying at Apartamentos Fuengirola Playa was a very positive one. From the Reception staff, Fernando deserves a special mention, to the functionality of the apartment, cleanliness and location. We arrived early for check-in, having checked with the Reception team that we could leave our luggage in a secure space until check-in time, and our apartment was ready, which was unexpected. I have been to Fuengirola before and specifically chose the area, as you can get to the centre of Fuengirola easy enough, but this area of Carvajal Beach is gorgeous. Very clean, incredibly friendly, and appears to be more used by local residents. The apartment was clean and well presented. We lacked some glasses for cava, but asked at Reception and these were provided. The Reception staff were also very helpful in recommending places to visit and advising of discounts at local attractions. There is a well stocked supermarket a few doors down, which was really helpful and an excellent coffee shop, Akb Sunrise Cafetería y Brunch, where the coffee is spectacular and they also have a daytime food menu, great for brunch. Excellent restaurants and bars close by, lovely clean beach with lifeguards, and beds for 8 Euros per day, including soft mattress, pillow & table, and clean public toilets everywhere. We would definitely stay here again, but our only request would be to be on a higher floor, above the treeline, so we can appreciate the superb sea view even more!"

"This is a lovely and quiet sister hotel attached to Fuengirola Park. I absolutely love it here. My highlight was David on reception. Warm and professional. A kind and empathetic person who helped me to translate legal paperwork as I was over as a victim of a crime that had happened in Torremolinos. He was so helpful and made me feel I was safe whilst staying here. Location is perfect. Not busy like main Fuengirola but still a stone’s throw to get to. David needs to be promoted to Manager or more in my opinion. He’s such an asset to the hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was very well maintained and cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel is in a great location, opposite the beach and harbour and close to many shops and restaurants. The only downside we had here was having to pay for the indoor pool! We have stay in many hotels across the world and have never once until now, had to pay for the indoor pool as hotel guests, this was very frustrating on the day it torrential downpoured with rain and all the local businesses closed, our only option to occupy children was the indoor pool. You also only get to use the pool for one hour!"

"Our stay has been wonderful! The apartments are beautiful and have everything you could possibly need. All the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much to ask for. Paula and Roman have gone above and beyond to make the stay special, we are out here for my partners birthday and they have arranged a special surprise for him to celebrate his day. Over and above that, they are always on hand to assist and communication is via WhatsApp, making it quick and responsive, they are also always on the front desk if you ever need anything! The staff in all the restaurants and bars are so friendly and the food and drinks are delicious! We will certainly be back again!"

"Lovely hotel, room was modern and clean and great views from the balcony. I only had breakfast at the hotel but it was tasty and there was plenty of variety. Hotel is in a great location, close to beach and next to train station - be aware this means you can hear some noise from the trains up until almost midnight and from around 6/7am but I had earplugs (never travel without them) so this wasn't a problem for me. Hotel décor in the lobby, restaurant, shop etc is very dated and the pool is a lot smaller than it looks on the photos. Couldn't get a sunbed and didn't actually use the pool once as it was all a bit cramped and very loud down there - went in the sea instead!"

"Just got back and what a great time we had check in was very quick,we had a studio with 2 comfy beds,small kitchen and a big bathroom with walkin shower.Breakfast was a hot or cold one with lots of pastries.Pool area was lovely and didn't need to queue for beds.We had a lovely time here and would definitely return all staff were very friendly and helpful"
