We planned to go to Mijas, so we booked this hotel. It is very close to the seaside and can be reached on foot. Unfortunately, it was too cold. The hotel's front desk service is good and meets four-star standards.

The cleanliness conspicuous by its absence, the raft was clogged and did not swallow water. A 4 star hotel cannot offer rooms like this.

Really great hotel. Check in was straightforward. The room was a good size on the sixth floor at the end of the corridor. The huge lobby area was tastefully designed with quality decorations. The buffet style meals were of good quality with a big choice at both breakfast and dinner. Cava was available at breakfast. The staff were great too. The one thing I would mention is that access to the hotel car park is a little narrow so it would be quite difficult to park a large vehicle there.

Can’t really fault the hotel Stayed for 9 nights, staff all friendly. Breakfast was good, loads of choice. Didn’t have any other food as ate out. Air con great. Maybe only slight moan would be the temperature of the pool, it literally took my breath away when first in but got used to it. Most people only stayed in a couple of minutes. There is almost zero evening entertainment but that was ok for us as we went out. Really close to the old town where there are loads of restaurants and bars. Would stay again if in the area.

The hotel itself is beautifully put together. Communal areas are amazing & so comfortable you feel so relaxed. The rooms are also really nice & have everything you need for your stay. Only negative I would say is the drainage system. We were on the 1st floor & the smell on flushing the toilets was disgusting especially on a morning. This maybe only on our floor as we had friends stay on 8th & 12th and they didn't have this problem.
This is the only negative we could find.
The food is exceptional, fresh, hot & so much choice for everyone. Nothing was repetitive something different every day. We were a weeks stay. Some of our party said it was the best food they have ever had in a hotel.
The spa was amazing too, although book early as it's only small & it's not only open for hotel guests, outside visitors can book as well. There are also 2 lovely pools with pool bars.
Overall it's a beautiful hotel throughout and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend to any one else.

Worst check in experience ever - 8 golfers requested twin beds - put 4 of the party in double beds-asked to be moved and were told it was our fault and hotel was full - Vanessa on reception had terrible attitude even said she did not want to be at work asked to speak to a manager and was advised managers do not work at the weekend - very poor
