Comfortable and recent accommodation, within walking distance of the city center and the cable car. The housekeeping service comes every day to make the bed again, although the sheets and large towels were not changed after 3 days as indicated in the room description. The complete breakfast is hung on the front door handle which is practical and avoids having to go outside for lunch. The car parking is appreciable because the residence is next to a football stadium, parking is rather difficult and always full because they are small streets. You access the residence and your accommodation with a personal code sent to you. The elevator is also nice. Don't hesitate to taste the local specialties and enjoy the activities, folklore and walks that this pretty island offers.

Pleasant, comfortable and extremely well located space, allowed to see the old part of the city, good cleanliness, good breakfast. It was my first time in a Local Accommodation and I recommend it. Vanessa was always attentive, friendly and helpful.

Establishment very well located in Funchal, while being in a quiet street. Everything is accessible on foot, including the cable car which allows access to the heights of the capital (visit of the tropical garden not to be missed) Small downside: just double curtains on the windows and no voile curtains ▶️ when you overlook the parking lot or on the street, difficult to keep the curtains open and to have light while preserving privacy. And another downside: the shower door which opens towards the inside of the shower ▶️ even if it’s a detail, it’s not at all practical…

Very spacious apar**ent, carefully furnished and with everything you need (including washing machine!). Very clean, located in the center, a few steps from the sea, the Mercado dos Lavradores and Rua de Santa Maria, with many restaurants and clubs. Breakfast, which must be requested separately, is served outside the door and is good. Reasonable price for what is offered, although Funchal certainly offers cheaper accommodation. If I were to return to Madeira I would definitely stay here again!

A real let down. The day we arrived there was no hot water and we had to shower in cold water at night. The water boiler was so small that for 2 people to take a shower it had to be in a hurry so that the second would not take a shower with cold water. The lamp in the bedroom also had the lamp blown. The personal hygiene products that they mention that they make available only did so on the first day, after that they never said they would solve the problem and the next day we were still without hygiene products. We were told to use the dispenser, but it was on the sink too far from the bathtub, or to go buy shampoo with a lot of arrogance, saying it's not a hotel. However, we were not alerted from the beginning and as advertised it would be included in the price, since they change towels and make the beds every day, so it is an aparthotel and not a normal apar**ent. As for the towels, on one of the days they put a torn towel and there was still another day that they didn't put toilet paper or remove the garbage from the kitchen. Regarding the parking, it was very small, requiring 2 people and still 30 minutes to get in and out of it. As for breakfast, it was a shame, for 2 people they put only 2 slices of cheese and 2 slices of ham for 4 breads, and only 2 small juices. When neither coffee machine nor instant coffee worked. All counted. Definitely not to be repeated.
