From the moment we arrived the service was 5 stars!! Very attentive to our needs and extremely helpful. Our room was beautiful and the food at the hotel is wonderful. Highly recommend staying and dining here.

Just returned from our third trip to the Cliff Bay and we will definitely be booking again. We enjoy he wonderful position, building and gardens of the hotel. The food and service are second to none and the rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed. A week here is better than two weeks anywhere else and we always return home refreshed.

Wonderful stay at the Cliff Bay. This was our 5th visit to Madeira and 2nd visit to this hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else from now on. The hotel is immaculate with stuning gardens. Amazing staff throughout the hotel. Already booked for 2025.

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the reception staff. The room was very hot and closed up and air conditioning was turned off. Eventually we managed to sort the temperature out and we were more comfortable. What a lovely touch to find water and a complimentary wine waiting. The view from our balcony was lovely and the bed enormous and bed linen and towels of high quality. The meals in the Rose Garden restaurant seem to deteriorate as the week went on and similar food choices appeared on the menu. Breakfast choice was wonderful. Pool areas always clean and tidy.
