The TUI Blue Madeira Gardens in an adults only hotel within a 15 minutes walk to the centre of Funchal .It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay on the island . The staff are friendly and helpful .

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich. Pooltücher waren gratis und es gab immer freie Liegen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Vom Lido zum Hotel ist der Weg ziemlich steil, dafür hat man gute Sicht.

Excellent hotel with excellent facilities. quiet despite its business, very nice friendly staff. I can thoroughly recommend it and would book to stay again at it if in Madeira again.

Being recently diagnosed coeliac I required a gluten free diet and was very nervous on how I could manage this during my holiday. It turns out I need not have worried. In the restaurant the restaurant manager introduced me to the chef who said it would be available to me each day to take me through the dishes and explain what was suitable for me. He also said that the deserts would not be suitable but would make my desert on request himself. For breakfast a table of food was set up for specific dietary requirements, including gluten free with a dedicated toaster. I went to the chefs special tasting menu in the a la carte restaurant and I had thought I would have to miss out on some of the meals but no alternatives were provided, and explained in detail to me and of equal standing to those on the menu. I was very impressed. This was a major contribution to me being able to relax and enjoy my holiday. All the other facilities were brilliant and the staff friendly, helpful and gracious. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel with beautiful sea views. I couldn’t fault the hotel staff and food, the only downfall was it was a long walk into Funchal old town which we didn’t mind. The boat trip we booked through the Tui rep was a lovely day out. I would highly recommend this hotel due to its high standards.

Hotel service at reception, in restaurant and cleaning staff is very nice and helpful. The room is well mainteined even though not the most modern design. Wide variety of meals is offered at the breakfast however some products are not in good quality e.g. canned champignons, only basic friuits like melons, orange, pineaple, grapefruit, kiwi, no local ones.
