Overall great stay and we'll likely be back next time we visit Madeira.
Great location close to lots of restaurants and bars, and bus stops. It's not too far to walk to the city center and there's lots to see on the way there, too.
The rooms were clean, shampoo etc. was provided and there were even extra blankets which we were very grateful for as it can be chilly at night.
What we did not enjoy that much was the breakfast, as both restaurants serve about the same food and it was the same every morning. The taste was ok but we probably won't add breakfast the next time we stay, or not for all days.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, however, the hotel appeared to be understaffed, meaning we'd have to wait quite a bit to receive service, e.g., at the reception, and staff seemed stressed at times.

Absolutely stunning hotel grounds and pool areas. Delicious food in all the restaurants so much choice. The staff so friendly and went above and beyond

Wir waren das 1 Mal auf Madeira. Wir waren mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Die Hotelanlage war trotz ihrer Größe übersichtlich. Der Garten ist eine Augenweide.

Tout est fait pour le bien-être des résidents. Excellente literie. Excellente propreté générale. Chambre (suite) confortable et bien équipée. Très bonne insonorisation. Buffet de petit-déjeuner et dîner excellents et très diversifiés. Personnel très serviable. Très beau jardin. Très belle situation en front de mer.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, die Anlage weitläufig und schön angelegt. Die Zimmer sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Personal sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit. Toller Spa Bereich. Rundum traumhaft. Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

The accommodation is very roomy and very comfortable. There are several pools which are all clean and no shortage of loungers. The gardens are spectacular. Restaurants are good quality with really good staff.
