Wouldn’t say that this is a good stay. It has a big room with balcony and a cooking area but the toilet is not clean and is smelly, we try to ask the front desk to change another room for us but it failed to happen eventually. And the towel were not clean, there were stings on it. The overall service is okay.

We booked a 3-star hotel and pretty much got what we expected. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but since two Dorisol hotels share the same dining area, it felt more like a step up from a youth hostel. 7:30 AM for breakfast is too late for hikers. The staff, however, were generally very friendly and accommodating. The 120 steps up to reception were a bit of a trek.
You have to reserve for the indoor pool (!), but the pool itself is too shallow for swimming, the massage jets were broken, and the hot tub was cold and barely bubbling – completely forgettable.
The room was dated, with mold in the shower corners of the bathroom, but the beds were good. We booked an ocean view, and from our 8th-floor room, it was more of a 'tree-view' – you could glimpse the sea past a tree, which felt like a rip-off.
About 30 meters behind the hotel, there's a private house with 12 dogs that start barking from 6 AM. Very, very annoying. The fridge didn't close properly due to ice build-up, causing water to pool in the room, which I fixed myself.
Conclusion: not recommended.

The dining room -I was there for the breakfast- is an old one, not so inviting. The breakfast-selection is not so good, as a vegan or vegetarian you can't choose much (only beans & bread), the coffee is okay but not tasty, the juices are not fresh & sugary.
There is no big pot for cooking, for two persons it would be good to have one.
The bed is good, the fan does its job, the bathroom is big enough, the balcony practical.
The location is near to the busline, 30min to walk to the center & there is the Lido promenade (with some places to swim) to the next small city with a small light tunnel for pedestrians, there you can hear/see the surf :)
The opening times for the pool are too late in the morning and too short (8.00-20.00).
The female staff at the reception with the glasses (saturday evening), didn't manage my wake-up-call for the next morning (the staff at this day showed me that he had no notice for a call), thats not a good one, because sometimes you have to depend on it.

The indoor pool was closed for renovations and there was construction in the hallway, resulting in a lot of noise from 8 am. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked. The cleaning staff was very friendly. Climbing the 130 steps to reach the hotel at the end of the day was tiring.
