All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only faults were the beds were hard (got a topper fitted) and the dining room is very congested at times. Overall a great stay at lovely hotel.

Hotel a circa 20 min a piedi dal centro. Belli gli spazi esterni e piscina. Personale della reception gentile. Parcheggio piccolo ma gratuito. Purtroppo per noi avevamo preso una stanza vista giardino, ma la vista era su una specie di terrazzo, dove erano collocati tutti i vari condizionatori e macchinari vari dell’hotel. Era impensabile dormire con la finestra aperta per il rumore che facevano h24. Purtroppo si sentiva, anche se in modo minore, con la finestra chiusa causa vetri sottili. Peccato, ad averlo saputo avremmo scelto un’altra tipologia di stanza. E’ stato poco piacevole soggiornare in quella stanza, purtroppo.

This is the second time we have stayed at the enotel magnolia, first time 10 years ago. The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need for a weeks break. Really comfortable. The staff from the front desk to dining room and the lady that cleans the rooms were superb, could not fault anyone. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Madeira. Great value for money 💴

No complaints about the hotel inMadeira. Everyone from cleaners, bar staff, receptionists and dining room staff were all helpful and pleasant.. The only downside was we had to divert to Lanzarote because of the winds. It meant we lost over a day of our holiday because we did not get to Madeira until late on Tuesday night. Also at Lanzarote they had no record of me needing assistance to get on and off the plane. We ended up tagging along with another couple Mr and Mrs Punton as they also needed help. The hotel in Lanzarote was fine except we were a long way from reception and the restaurant and as I have difficulty walking, was not ideal. Otherwise meals were provided and the room was fine.

First visit to Madeira. Spent 7 nights at this great hotel on bed & breakfast basis. Good sized room. Comfy bed. Hot shower. We had a sea view with balcony but didn’t really get the most out of it because the weather wasn’t very good. However, the small, heated pool was very much appreciated. Breakfasts were excellent, (except for the “bacon”, which was a bit strange). The bar area is huge, with lots of cosy seating areas and nightly entertainment. Location is good, being in between the Old Town and Lido areas and walkable to both (bus stops just outside too). Lots of bars and restaurants close by. The best thing about this hotel though, is the staff. What a wonderful, hard working, happy, courteous and helpful bunch they were. We will be returning to Madeira and will have no hesitation in returning to the Enotel Magnolia.
