Location ways, very convenient. Room was somehow smaller than what it look like on the photos. Congratulations to the Marketing team. Windows need to be fixed. Too noisy from outside. Breakfast was good.

Location was good as is just a 10 min walk to downtown. As a frequent traveler, I don't consider the hotel 5-star rated hotel. It's ok for a 4-star, but not 5. Doesn't meet a 5-star standard in several things. For example, if you are driving, parking is a little bit an hassle as you have to change from one building to another. Breakfast was good but not 5-star breakfast. Lack of warm breakfast dishes and pastries. Windows in the room not sound proof. Woke up severals times during night time as you could hear the noise from the Garbage truck. When you take a shower, leaks water towards the hand sink area. Pillows, not match a 5-star standard either. Was ok, but not great!

Great location, very central but not noisy, within walking distance of some great restaurants and the Harbour. There’s a road that takes you up to the New Town which has lots of Hotels but we much preferred the Old Town, so much more choice of Restaurants (as far as we could see). There’s a fantastic Shopping Mall below the Hotel (we bought our beer and wine in the Supermarket as the Hotel has a decent sized fridge in the room). There is also a water machine on each floor where you can fill, either your own bottles or the glass one provided by the hotel, with still or sparkling water. Breakfast was lovely, great selection of fruit, breads, cold meats/cheese and also a good hot selection (buffet), fresh orange juice was amazing! You can also ask the waiting staff to cook omelette, poached eggs etc. which are delivered fresh to your table. Prosecco also available but too early for us! Staff were great at breakfast and throughout the hotel. We didn’t eat in the Restaurant so cannot comment on that. Housekeeping were fantastic, the room was spotless every day we returned from our day out. Only one wee gripe - they only left one loo roll so you could be in trouble if you run out! We asked for 2 to be left which was absolutely no problem. If you like Indian food then you will be in heaven, we had 3 curries in a week and each one was great, prices are all very much on a par throughout the restaurants we tried. Would highly recommend taking the Cable Car up to the top and visit the beautiful gardens, also the Tobogan which takes you half way down (great fun). We used the local bus to return (2 euros each), taxis cost 20 for the same journey. You can walk but far too warm (about 2 kilometres).. Overall we found the hotel a great place to stay, spotless rooms, lovely staff and great breakfast,

Outstanding property! The staff were always pleasant and helpful, the restaurant was 5 star all the way. It was perfectly located for all the main restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Starting with the positives… Good central location, roof top terrace with outdoor pool and bar, and excellent selection and variety of food at breakfast. The hotel and rooms are spotless. Pastry Chef is very good. Sadly that is the sum total of the positives.. Below is resumé of the parting conversation I had at check out… I was offering constructive criticism… The electrics in the bedrooms need reprogramming. YES WE KNOW The tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom are very poor. No local produce… Eg biscuits, herbal teas, hot chocolate etc. No Coffee machine. This is supposedly a superior room. ONLY HAVE COFFEE MACHINES IN THE SUITES. WE KNOW THE COFFEE ISNT GOOD, WE HAD A MEETING ABOUT IT. I couldn’t initially work out the key safety system in the lift. Think it would be helpful if you had a notice about it in the lift. I SHOWED YOU HOW TO USE IT ON THE DAY YOU ARRIVED, BUT YOU WERE VERY TIRED, YOU MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN Ate in the restaurant. Told the Maitre d’ that the starter was awful. YES THE CHICKEN IS VERY DRY. ITS BECAUSE YOU CHOSE FROM THE BAR MENU, YOU SHOULD HAVE TURNED THE PAGE AND CHOSEN FROM THE STARTERS.. The check out guy said that he couldn’t refund that part of the bill, as we had consumed it… It would be a good idea to get some taller cups for the coffee machine, at breakfast. If you want coffee and hot milk, unless you stop it halfway, the cup overflows. YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED THE STAFF TO HELP YOU. WERE YOU USING THE ESPRESSO CUPS? I could go on, but I’ve lost the will to live. Maybe because I’m stupid and tired… A hotel with potential, with no idea about customer care…
