We were on the island for Funchal Marathon weekend and this place was perfect for the marathon start, as it was about a 3-min walk.
We loved Madeira, and we really liked this hotel. Loads of food options around, a 30min walk to Funchal itself, and a car park about 3mins up the road. We used the car to explore more of the island, and this was a great base.
We would happily stay here again as it was great.

Exceptionally clean everywhere with extremely friendly staff who kept room spotless and well-serviced. Great position near Lido area and brilliant onsite supermarket with popular cafe providing first class coffee and cakes/snacks.

Great location 25 mins to old town Funchal plenty restaurants near by, wish I could have given a better review about our stay! Noisy traffic street with NO A/C on a hot summer didn’t have a choice then to sleep with door open to get some breeze, although was given a fan it did help somewhat over all didn’t get a good nite rest .

Great stay. Staff was super helpful especially Marco. I didn’t realize the place had no ac but not a big deal when a fan was given. I like that the location is away from Funchal but an easy walk over to it. The parking is an easy 3 min walk from the hotel if you don’t ask for an on-site limited parking space. Made everything nice an easy to get to. There is a small grocery before the hotel which made it extremely convenient. The small kitchen was great since we were leaving for sunrise hikes so it was nice to make coffee and breakfast inside our room.

Escolho normalmente este alojamento para descansar e fugir um pouco à rotina, é sossegado e numa zona bastante boa, perto de tudo e escolho especialmente porque primam pela simpatia e trato ao cliente. Vou talvez entre 2 a 3 vezes por mês, variando consoante a minha disponilidade. Sempre que solicito reserva sou tratada extremamente bem, e sinto-me de facto bem vinda, o cliente sente-se bem e confortável logo quando faz a reserva. Um especial agradecimento à Sra. Teresa Nóbrega Freitas que normalmente trata das minhas reservas, é profissional e simpática, é notório que tem experiência no tratamento do hospede. Envio um email e é sempre tratado com rapidez e sem quaisquer chatices, é sempre agradavelmente descomplicado. Muito mais do que talvez em grandes hoteis em que o atendimento é standard e processado como se de uma fábrica se tratasse. Seja para descanso, ou estadias mais longas aconselho este espaço, sossegado, confortavel e moderno, com um café mesmo abaixo, com pastelaria variada e uma mercearia. Tudo ao dispor mesmo a 1 minuto dos studios.
