Very nice and clean hotel, staff are super friendly and very helpful, they even arranged 4 AM breakfast package for me since that day I had to go to early hiking. Highly recommend!

Otel didn't cater for disabled and diabetic meals the rooms were small and need modernisation sound proof non existent no ramps exit and entrance for disabled never again 4 out of ten

Great location, very friendly staff and varied breakfast.
It wound great if there was a kettle or a microwave in the room.

Very sociable kind staff who talk to you like a regular friend coming in, plain rooms but nice sized windows for the fresh air, great rooftop view alllllll over the mountain and the ocean - especially lovely at night as everything is lit up. Cute bar setup aside the pool too! Good price for its perfect location and cleanliness and covering all the basics and a bit more. Good brunch cafe just across the street facing the cafe! The staff were super helpful with setting up a late checkin too.

The Windsor Hotel is old. I stayed on the first floor next to the parking lot, and you could hear cars coming in. I'm a light sleeper and woke up several times. This was annoying! There are few electrical outlets in the room. The bathroom (toilet) has a bathtub and hairdryer. Clean towels and sheets. The TV worked well. The location is excellent; you can walk to the main tourist attractions (cable car, CR7 Museum, Farmers' Market, beachfront). The breakfast is great. A variety of breads, cold cuts, juices, coffee, fruit, scrambled eggs, and cakes. The service at the reception is impeccable. They are very attentive and kind. You can take the Aerobus or bus (113), which travels via the airport, directly from the airport to Funchal and enjoy the wonderful sea views along the way.
