I chose this hotel specifically for the Elf House in Furano, and because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and the room, toilet, and shower were clean and tidy, which was acceptable.

Hostel Crew were really friendly and very accommodating, getting to and from the ski resort was not a problem since the bus stop was literally in front of the hostel. Very clean hostel. Only about 8min walk from the JR station. There is a grocery nearby.

It is very convenient to go to the ski resort from the bus stop in front of the hotel.
It was great that the hotel had a place to store skis and snowboards.
I would have liked a little more space in the room to hang clothes and a shelf to put my luggage.

The room smelled bad, there was no air freshener, and the sheets and quilts were not spread out. The person on the upper bunk said he couldn't turn around to make the bed. I probably won’t try to stay in a youth hostel next time.
