1 Woche wohlfühlen + dank einem vorzüglichen Service in sämtlichen Bereichen des Hotels. Die freundliche Begrüssung jeden Morgen vom Zimmerservice- und Restaurant-Personal war der Hammer. Man spürte richtig, dass dies nicht einfach eingetrichterte Floskeln waren, sondern ernstgemeinte Freundlichkeit. Frühstücksbüffet sowie Abendessen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wenn sogar für den angemeldeten Hund eine Decke, ein Napf und Leckerlis im Zimmer sind, fühlt sich auch die Fellnase äusserst wohl.

Positiv waren: - goßzügige Zimmerausstattung - vielseitiges und qualitativ gutes Frühstück - Lage des Hotels Nicht gefallen hat uns: - feste Platzzuweisung beim Abendessen. Dem Wunsch nach einem gemütlichen Sitzplatz wurde nicht stattgegeben. - unfreundliche Bedienung an der Bar - sehr eingeschränkte Auswahl der Speisen beim Abendessen

Buchung, Check-In, Zimmer war für uns stimmig. Tolle Lage, daher waren wir nicht zum ersten Mal dort. Das Frühstücksbuffet war Standard, nicht vergleichbar mit den Buffets in ähnlichen Häusern. Das Abendmenü war an den beiden Abenden, an denen wir zu Besuch waren, enttäuschend und am 2. Abend war zudem die Portion sehr klein. Wir waren immer gerne im Hotel Sommer, aber nach dem Besitzerwechsel hat es für uns - was die Küche angeht - in der Qualität deutlich nachgelassen.

Overall a very nice hotel. As mentioned elsewhere rooms though a good size are somewhat dated. The bathroom in my deluxe room was very 90’s…I wouldn’t normally expect a shower in a bath for an upgrade room,
The Spa is the stand out feature of this hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains…particularly at dusk. Very relaxing.
The hotel is very much a family hotel.
I personally found the dinner options very limited…4 mains and one desert option. (Or that’s all I was presented with)
Business travellers wanting to work note that the mobile reception (data) in the hotel is poor and doesn’t work in many places. The hotel WiFi though not bad drops out in many places.
Overall if you after a quiet hotel this is for you.

Hotel Sommer is a place where I could stay for a long time. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. The rooms were spotless and quiet. The food was over the top delicious and nothing was left out. And the spa with 5 saunas was top notch with a view of the lake. Overall a stunning and luxurious place to stay.

Nice area good property
Staff is very friendly. Spa is fantastic. Restaurant is terrific; breakfast is wonderful though dinner could have more menu options. Our patio faced the dumpsters and the area where employees took their smoke break, but we didn’t realize it until we had unpacked. Disappointing given the price of the rooms. Maybe the employees should go off site to smoke? That was more unpleasant than the dumpsters.

Spa & Health Resort without availability
Marketed as a relaxing Alpine getaway but did not deliver. Great view, nice room and good food but without access to the health services a total waste of money.
