Beautuful Colonial Villa with large rooms and bathrooms There is a private pool Mosquitoes will try to spoil your happiness. The caretakers are nice but not pro Breakfast is served( Basic Srilankan Breakfast) The caretaker is willing to cook a meal at a price provided you buy and give every item For communuication,you better use Google Translate

The house is lovely. Originally a Dutch villa that’s been restored beautifully & somehow manages to feel both original & comfortably modern at the same time. The house was spotless as was the pool & the caretaker Mohan could not have been more helpful & accommodating. The breakfast is supplied as part of the price paid for the villa but both nights we (a family of 4) stayed Mohan bought groceries that we paid for & made dinner for us which we tipped him for. The villa is very central & within walking distance, or a short tuk tuk ride, of the fort & town. Green Casa was my favourite place to stay during our trip to Srilanka.

What an amazing place to stay! The house itself is an absolute treasure,wonderfully restored and holding on firmly to its colonial past with a breakfast made to your taste and a lovely garden pool. The excellent caretaker is always around to arrange everything you need and being just outside town it is nice and quiet.The owner drops in from time to time and was helpful with a spare bed for my daughter. I could not recommend this place enough.A gem!
