Compared to the lighthouse next to it, the hotel is newer, the rooms are quite large, the location is better, and it is closer to the attractions. Although it is called the Asian Hotel, there are not many Asians. The restaurant feels very cozy. The room type was temporarily upgraded. It is a bit boring if you stay for more than 2 nights.

Nice hotel entrance. Pool with views of the fortress and the sea. The hotel also has a small, direct access to a bay where you can swim in the sea if you are more into nature and salt water.

We visited during off-season, so there were very few other guests. The first morning we had an unusual "set" breakfast, which was understandable as no buffet was offered when there were so few guests. Water pressure/temperature was unstable and there was a weird pulsating noise in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a lovely estate in absolute terms and stunning in relative terms. Very near the trendy fort area, which is worth a visit. Overall pleased.
