街の中にあり最高の立地で、灯台やモスク、ビーチにすぐに出ることが出来る。
家具やアート作品などのセンスがとても素晴らしかった。
パキスタン人オーナーが選んでいるとのこと。花の生け方も素敵だった。
ラウンジにはブリューゲルのカタログなどがあった。
ホテルの従業員のリネンの制服もホテルに合っていた。
プールも大きくはないが、周りの古い黄色い壁とのカラーコントラストが素敵だった。
朝食はコンチネンタルにしたが、ヘルシーでおしゃれで美味しかった。
スイートに泊まったが、猫足のバスタブ。ただし、窓の外は街路なので、窓を開けることができず、
暗かったのが少し残念。

The location is very convenient. The Internet celebrity store is next door and there is a bar opposite the door. It is very comfortable to take the children to sit for a while at night. There is no problem with the hotel, but Galle is a hotel where you can stay or not. I personally don’t think I will stay for one night next time.

Welcoming hotel in old town Galle, in very pretty surroundings with a small pool area. We stayed in the suites down the street which were clean and comfortable but we missed a coffee maker and the locks didn’t really work. Breakfast was a la carte and the bar served fresh cappuccino. Really nice staff at the pool and restaurant!

Magnificent room, refined colonial style. No mini fridge or welcome tray. Room overlooking the street, very noisy, large window and shutters that cannot be opened. Stained sofa. Sri Lankan breakfast that we were supposed to order the day before, I'm still waiting for it. Indoor swimming pool for 2 people, very narrow and 2 deckchairs. Very slippery polished concrete. Meal quality price very Very expensive. Average staff, fleeing. 500m from the beach not accessible for swimming. On the other side of the street, smaller "school" rooms and less noble equipment. The hotel says "eco" but there is paper to wipe your hands in the pool toilets. Eco-friendly especially in the kindness and services.

Amazing hotel in the middle of Galle Fort. Service was one of the best. Extra thanks to Madushan and Petar. We were encouraged to visit the sister hotel, Kurulu Bay. And we had an amazing afternoon and evening there. The food in the restaurant both at the Printers and at Kurulu was the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far.
We will be back!

A very quirky hotel that has been several things over the years, printers, school etc. Large rooms, good air con, very small swimming pool but this was a welcome relief from the scorching sun. Breakfast was lovely although you need plenty of time.

A lovely unique hotel right in the middle of the Dutch Fortress. Really fab. Professional staff who were very welcoming; and a truly superb Western breakfast (including granola). The area is buzzing and everything about this hotel is geared up to the customers needs. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel is a little oasis in a historic building close by the fort. We had a church room with a very high ceiling and one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever had. There were quite a few mosquitoes, but luckily, the bed had a net. The meal prices are expensive for Sri Lanka but the pavlova was excellent. The building really has character and I can see why it appeared in Condé Nast Traveller. Although small, we really enjoyed the coolness of the swimming pool. We were even able to get a free late checkout. As for the location: you can very easily walk to the fort and then make your way around the city to the lighthouse and walk back through the center (best time is sunset). Overall, we were very happy and would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. The room was magnificent with a wonderful canopied bed. The small pool is very welcome. The breakfasts are delightful with various choices, including a Sri Lankan breakfast, which my wife had both days and loved. The manager was both charming and knowledgeable and was able to make helpful recommendations . My only negative comment is that the restaurant across the street had live LOUD music until 10 PM both nights we were there. They did stop promptly at that time but, before then, they were quite annoying. Perhaps a room in the back would be quieter. We were able to occupy ourselves until 10 PM and it was more in the nature of a mild annoyance. I would definitely stay here again.
