I am a fussy traveller and under normal circumstances I would not have been happy to stay at Villa 69. It is clear that the hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. They do not offer wifi and the rooms could do with a make over. On the other hand the room was clean and I had a great balcony with the most stunning view of the beach and the Indian Ocean. Furthermore the hotel manager and his staff are great. I had the most beautiful breakfast in the stunning garden on a daily basis. The beach is out of this world beautiful, but it is advisable not to swim in the sea due to the very rough current. The hotel also has a small pool, which was cleaned several times during my stay.
