Well sited property. My only complaint is that my room had a strange odor and not deeply clean. All staff were delightful and hardworking and my kids' room was fine.

I recently stayed at Galway Bay Hotel for a ladies’ weekend away. I could not recommend it enough. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were treated like royalty. Breakfast was fab with a range of foods to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Dinner at Pier 56 Restaurant was excellent – top class food, service, a varied menu and a beautiful dining room. We particularly enjoyed their extensive cocktail menu too! The bedrooms were spacious, clean, very comfortable and we had all we needed. Our bathroom had a large walk-in shower. Our trea**ents and massages at The Beauty Rooms were very relaxing and our group were well looked after and accommodated by Elizabeth. We spent more relaxing time at the pool and sauna. The leisure centre is immaculate, nicely done and there too were friendly helpful staff. Location is second to none, right on Salthill Promenade with excellent beaches and walkways. The hotel is also well-located to explore Galway City. We loved our stay at The Galway Bay Hotel and can’t wait to return. It’s a top-class hotel with great staff. Fiona

Wine, chocolates and small plate of cakes on arrival. Comfortable bed. Huge hotel with cool old street style pub. Breakfast in the suite was fab (although they forgot a couple of items we ordered). Having a separate room to chill was great with a lovely sea view. Staff super friendly.

Lovely hotel to visit, right on the coast. Positives - beds are very comfy and rooms are quiet. Live music was very good. Underground car available too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. Hotel is 12mins drive from Galway center. Negatives - breakfast slots need to be booked in advance, the food is mediocre & not replenished quickly. Pool is small. Parking spaces are tight.

We stayed here on night in May and I’m glad we picked it as the location was perfect. We had a family room that had a slight water view. My only gripe was that there was no fridge in the room. Other than that it was clean. We didn’t bring bathing suits but I wish we had as many locals were swimming on the beach across from the hotel which I hadn’t seen previously. The hotel also gave us one of the best breakfasts on our trip.
