Beautiful hotel, overlooking the water. Pool with sauna, steam room and an outdoor hot tub. Wonderful breakfast. overall a great experience. Walking distance to all you would want in Galway. Wonderful staff to direct you for whatever you need.

We had a lovely time in the Galmont Hotel, the staff were helpful, the food was lovely and the room was comfy. The location was great for getting in and out of town.

I spent 5 days at the Galmont with my family . It was the perfect base of operation for our exploration of Galway and County Clare (Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Kylemore Abbey, Knock, Connemara National Park just to name a few) The location was perfect. My room overlooked the Bay. Just around the corner, a very short walk) was the city center, for shopping and dining. The Spa was big plus. It helped us all recover from our overseas flights, jet lag and our hiking adventures. The food was delicious. There were lots of choices for the vegetarians in the group. The service throughout the Hotel and Spa was excellent. It will become a regular stop on future trips to Ireland.

I have been going to Energize Gym the last 12 months. I have started personal training with Holly and have finished my first 6 sessions and now got 6 more! She is such a kind, genuine person and creates a very friendly environment where you instantly feel comfortable. She showed me how to use all the machines, listens to what exercises I enjoy and tracks my progress. She has helped me build my confidence and in such little time I already feel stronger. She has a great sense of humor so every sessions is filled with laugh and positive attitude which motivates me to work out even harder. Overall very professional coaching and definitely will help you to achieve your fitness goal! Super grateful to Holly and the Energize Team, including Florian and Yara who does Spinning (super fun activity to do). Super kind bunch :) Thank you

The Galmont is brilliantly located, a few minutes walk from the city centre but sufficiently far enough away that it isn’t disturbed by the hubbub of the crowds. We had a lovely room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the lough. It was a great size. The staff were friendly, generous in their courteousness and efficient. We ate breakfast both days in the restaurant and enjoyed it. Good selection of foods and quality. The staff in the restaurant were very good. Cheerful and kind. We were surprised and disappointed that our waters and coffee pods were topped up each day. Seemed a bit petty if not an oversight. Overall, we’d happily recommend the Galmont and return to it if coming back to Galway.
