We were traveling with our daughter (7) and chose Victoria Hotel because they had a room with 2 beds. It's also super close to everything (2-5 min walk from the thick of city center) but just enough removed that it's nice and quiet at night. Very clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. You can't go wrong with this place!

I was attending a function in the hotel. It was a perfect location as I could walk from the train station in less than 5 minutes. I was allocated room 201, so you need to avoid this room as there is no window in it. Reception staff moved me when I asked to 203 and this was a lovely spacious room, with plenty of window space. The room facilities are basic, but for a three star hotel, the room is above expectations. Bathroom is lovely and modern. I had no problem with shower, but I did hear others say they waited 15 minutes for hot water to arrive. I did ask for an iron and an ironing board, but it never was delivered. Breakfast had a good selection and I thought it was a good price and food quality was decent. The room does have a little street noise, but it did not go on late. I was in the bar briefly and there was a lovely ambience there.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Very convenient for the train and bus stations. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean and comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom (our room had a bath as well as a shower, which was a real bonus). Breakfast was very good with a buffet and an option to order a hot breakfast too. Will definitely return.
