Very comfortable stay at the Ardilaun. Room ideally located for ease of access with our dog. Patio area is not enclosed but there is direct access to nice garden which our dog was very grateful for. Food and service very good. Very nice area of the city, close to the city, Salthill and lovely Connemara. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at the Ardilaun Hotel as I was attending a wedding there. It was perfect - from arrival at the front desk, where the two ladies were really helpful - to check out the following day. My early check in request was accommodated, anything asked of the staff was not a problem, and I slept soundly in a comfortable quiet room.

Hôtel pour gros groupes de touristes. Aucun charme. Petit déjeuner très très moyen et très bruyant. Dans la chambre même pas d’eau offerte ni café. Je ne conseille pas. Très mauvais rapport qualité /prix. Les 2 étoiles c’est pour la gentillesse du personnel

Lovely hotel with great amenities and a really nice pub/bar that serves food. It is outside the center of Galway quite a bit but is a short taxi ride away. Staff was pleasant and helpful, I would stay here again. The only drawback is that there is really one way in and out to go to anything else and both morning and evening rush hours are a nightmare on this road.

Although a little ways from the main action in Galway, the Ardilaun Hotel was extremely comfortable. The staff were very good, the breakfast was delicious and the on-site Bistro was also very good. Our room was a very good size and the air conditioning worked. Wifi was strong. The gym facilities were fine (lots of equipment!) but the pool/sauna was a bit disappointing (jacuzzi was only luke-warm). Would definitely stay here again.

We were very lucky to get two rooms (for two couples) on short notice at the Ardilaun Hotel after a misfire at another possible Galway City stay. It is a short drive out from the city proper, in a rather rustic attractive neighborhood, but to my mind, totally worth giving up walkability for the beauty and charm it offers. It is a truly elegant hotel, with lovely rooms, public spaces, and gardens. If you have a car or don’t mind ride-sharing or a taxi to get to your lodging from Galway City attractions, I heartily recommend.

I was on a trip with my husband and a large group. The hotel is actually quiet quaint, I loved the gardens, we sat outdoors with a drink in the evening. Food was nice, a bit rushed. Good size pool for a hotel but staff need some customer service training. Busy chatting.. shoved a towel at us and left us to find our own way. Also need to up their game on cleanliness - dirty tissues all over floors and showers grubby. Overall ok experience

However rooms are old fashioned and need some update. The necessity of wearing a swimming cap in the pool reflects the charme of the 70's.
