Park House Hotel

We had a family celebration meal here last night and I cannot praise the hotel enough from start to finish. A lovely young lad looked after parking my car. The bar staff were so friendly. We had a meal booked in the restaurant and we were just blown away with the attention we got on a very busy evening there. Our table was set up were a birthday banner and a personalised menu for my Dad's 80th. There was at least 2 other birthdays and 3 other Anniversary's set up while we were there. It was a very thoughtful thing to do and just added to the night. The food was exceptional (as it always is), and i have to say very reasonable. Its very clear that the staff at this hotel are well looked after as they seem very happy in their jobs. I would be very quick to complain if something wasn't right but this hotel is faultless. Keep up the amazing work and well done to the wonderful staff

A very quiet, clean hotel with nice amenities in the room, plenty of space for personal toiletries in the bathroom, a very nice breakfast, pleasant employee who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We were happy with our stay there.

Went in for a quick lunch as my grandad loves the restaurant. Was not surprised why - the hostess speaking Irish to us when she heard us speaking it, Katie looking after us for our entire meal, the food itself was lovely and the place was so clean even though they were very busy! Will be back again for sure :)

Lovely old world hotel in the heart of Galway. The hotel is gorgeous, our rooms were really nice, the hotel was in a great location, and the service was excellent. Easy walk to Trinity College, lots of shops & great restaurants, and could even walk to a professional rugby match (it was so fun!). Great Irish breakfast as well.

We have used this hotel on numerous occasions on our trips to Galway and such is our satisfaction that we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The staff in particular front of house especially Deidre are brilliant and always recognise us whenever we return. Also a special mention to Kitty Carr one of the owners who in the main overseas the restaurant area, she is such a wonderful host who ensures that all customers receive the very best care and attention and always makes sure every detail is on point.

We had booked dinner for a friends special Birthday . There was a great welcome for us with an oval table beautifully decorated with Specially printed Menus in our friends name and Age. Balloons also decorated the area. The food was fantastic , beautifully cooked and very well presented by very attentive but non intrusive staff. From start to finish we had a great evening and were all raving about it. Thank you staff Edel who took the booking and Tara and the other waiting staff, unfortunately I’ve forgotten their names. We have just returned from a 3 day break at the Park and as always the welcome and service from all staff was excellent. Breakfast is a relaxing affair with as much tea and toast as you need, the quality of ingredients is top quality and Kitty makes sure everything runs smoothly. The reception team are helpful and friendly, especially Dierdre. Yes there are areas of the hotel that are looking tired and the bathroom we had was ready for an upgrade but all areas are spotless, the beds comfortable and the service is brilliant.

This is a lovely peaceful hotel in a perfect location. The room are nice and big and staff are lovely. The food is amazing only let down was frozen chips. A complete let down such a wonderful restaurant should be-able to make real chips. The only other bad comments is It needs refurbishment very tried looking. Chairs/sofas and furniture are in a bad need of TLC.
