There was numerous issues with this B&B and host. Firstly, there was no toilet roll supplied to the room until we had to request some. Secondly, the shower was not functioning, even though we paid extra for a room with a shower. You could not have normal or cold water, the running water was so hot that you could not stand underneath it as it would burn you. Due to this, we had to move to another room at 23:00 at night. To help resolve these issues, the host offered us late check out. She said “take your time for check out” and never specified a time that we needed to leave. The following day, she changed this plan. She text me at 13:30 to say she needed the room for new guests at 15:00. Because we trusted her word, I planned a busy day and we were far from the location. We hurried back and arrived just after 15:00, when she aggressively ordered that we leave the room ASAP. We told her we would quickly shower and then vacate the room. A few minutes later, she came again this time she opened the door into our room without permission, invading our privacy. As we left the room, I tried to explain calmly that she didn’t specify a time to us until 2 hours ago when we were far from B&B, but she would not listen to me and turned and walked away. I called her name and repeatedly asked her to listen to me but she continued to ignore me. I walked down to give her the key and she took it and still continued to ignore me and walked into the kitchen closing the door in my face. This was an unacceptable and extremely rude thing to experience and it left a bad taste in my mouth. In this place you can have many different problems and the host will be rude and unhelpful. The host had zero communication skills and if you want to enjoy your trip to Galway, I recommend you stay far away from this place.

I misread the description when booking this accommodation and expected a Bed & Breakfast in a family home. It was a big disappointment to find just a room with a key left in a locked box. The room was clean and secure. The shared bathroom was just adequate.

Host number on listing was wrong. Key didn’t work easily, creating a few moments of panic. There was NO toilet seat!

Location was ok, but bed was lumpy, power went out one morning and property manager was not helpful re: that. Not nearly enough parking. Also, someone arrived while I was there and there was no room for him; house had been over-booked. Can’t recommend

My review is the replica of those views who have gone before. Stayed for 1 night for the Galway Races in July at a very costly fee of €250 room only. It was just awful - made our way in the dark through cluttered back hallway and dining room to find a small cold room, no spare blanket, no toilet paper, a tiny shower and tiny sink neither of which had hot water either on the night we stayed or the following morning. A dirty uncovered pillow found in the wardrobe. Complained to the host by txt who replied she would get back to us but never heard a word since. All in all it was a total ripoff when any price could be charged for absolute no service. I have noted in the previous two reviews NO TOILET PAPER! How can these people get away with the likes of this !

Host was extremely rude and If you have a problem most likely you can not have a conversation with her because she will not listen and she will just leave you. You can not trust her words as well. There are numerous issues about rooms. No toilet tissues, bathroom problems(water) My experience was really bad there.
