Located just infront of the beach. This hotel has a fitness centre and the room was spacious and clean. There were ample of parking lots too.

I was a regular guest staying often throughout the year for over 10 years. I enjoyed the hotel with a great location however despite being a regular and knowing some of the staff by name, I stopped going after being discriminated against by one of the departments within the hotel. Very disappointing.

My partner & I stay here often but this time I brought a friend. The location is sublime, on the beach front. The rooms are always spotless, the reception is the friendliest and breakfast is a buffet style but has everything. The bar area is beautiful, it’s always quite busy on a Sunday evening so perhaps arrive early. Overall a great stay for friends, couples & families. If you book on the Salthill Hotel website the parking is free, otherwise I think it’s €5 a day for residents. Love staying here & we will be back, soon I think. Thank you.

The hotel is lovely, staff are courteous and food is lovely. A couple of observations - we booked dinner on two of the three nights we stayed - the set menu was the same on both nights, I thought there would of have been some variation on the menu. Also, we couldn't fault the service the 1st night, the 2nd night - I wouldn't call it bad service just a little inattentive/ hap-hazard. The major problem we had with our stay was the bed in the room - the mattress had seen better days and needs to be changed asap. There's a hollow on one side and the mattress dips - hard not to fall out of the bed at times! We were offered a change of room but we wouldn't have got a sea-view room which we had paid for.

The hotel is directly across from the ocean. Very clean and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Large rooms with ocean view. Easy walking distance to restaurants and O'Connors bar. Ocean walk across the street. If going to Galway this is an excellent hotel choice.

Bed was very bumpy and dipped in places. Breakfast was horrible and not much too chose from. For the price of €15 per person for breakfast I would have expected it to be better
