The friendly, professional staff welcome you ‘home’ to the property. They cannot do enough for you, not because it is their job, but because they genuinely want to do so. This was a return visit to the Wallawwa for my husband and I, a recommendation in itself. The food is fabulous, many ingredients from their own gardens. Don’t miss tea and freshly made cake and biscuits on the terrace, each afternoon.Spacious, comfortable rooms are perfect for a restful sleep.

Before 5 o'clock in the morning to catch the plane, we two girls each moved more than 30 kilograms of luggage from the top floor in the dark. We woke up the staff when we couldn’t get a taxi. It turned out that we had already called a taxi for us yesterday. We were shocked when we saw a tuk-tuk with three wheels, and the price doubled. We didn’t want to because we couldn’t fit our luggage and safety reasons. After the ride, the driver left angrily and said: You are rich, but our country is poor. We were very uncomfortable. The hotel's mistake did not inform us of the price and the price of the taxi, which caused the driver to misunderstand. After that, the hotel has been unable to help me call a car or arrange a car to go to the airport. When the plane is about to be delayed, we finally found a car on the side of the dark road, which is a blessing in misfortune. It is recommended not to stay in an informal hotel if the flight is early, in case the travel cannot be guaranteed, it will be very troublesome.

I was charged an astonishing amount. ,, I asked why, but the answer was difficult to understand. A little disappointing. It is better to discuss the money with the owner before using it. I paid for this hotel booking site and stayed at the hotel I was charged for my stay. I showed the image of the receipt from the app, explained it, and asked for a refund. I made a bill payment together with a tuk-tuk, Because the tuk tuk was priced high for reasons I don't understand I didn't get the full amount paid for the hotel. The owner didn't know I had paid. and answered. Why did you make a reservation by paying with a card from the app site? It was a pity that it was difficult to understand whether it was answered like that and what kind of mechanism it is 😢

Everything was excellent. Very good buffet for breakfast. Nice pool on the roof with gym and coctail bar. My room is on 24 floor has a fantastic view on the green lake, skyscrapers and a port of Galle face green. The room was always clean and fully equiped - much thanks for housekeeping to Dhananjaya!

Stayed here for a week, I think I really like this hotel. Because it is a decision after comparing Trip.com and booking. The housekeeper Saman is very good. When I arrived late at night, I needed to contact him. He would drive a Tuktuk car to the gate to help me with my luggage. They will also care about the movement of the guests and remind me to pay attention to safety late at night. The room was very clean, with a kettle and mineral water, and the air conditioning was very good. There was no mention of hot water in the room, in fact hot water was provided, but you may need to bring your own slippers and toothpaste toothbrush. Another is that this is more like a private garden, although there is the occasional sound of planes flying, but most of the time it is very quiet. Especially they have tried loading wifi. And the hotel has its own kitchen, you can also consult the housekeeper if you want to use it. English communication is more important, but there is a translator estimated to be no problem. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel grounds and the rooms were very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (lunch and dinner). It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.
