"Check-in was at 6 or 7 in the evening. There was only one receptionist and more than 10 people were in line. It took more than half an hour to get in line! The road at the entrance was very small. When the three parking spaces were full, there was no place to park temporarily for check-in. We could only park on the sidewalk and leave one person to watch the car and luggage while one person queued for check-in. It was very tiring and embarrassing to follow the children on a long-distance self-driving trip! The room was very small, the floor was very dirty, there was only one chair, no blankets or quilts, just an ultra-thin sheet as a quilt! It was very uncomfortable for a family of three to live in. The parking fee was 19 euros a day! The only advantage was that it was close to the beach"

"The hotel is small but quirky. We had a superior room which provided us with a roof terrace which had 2 sofas and was partly under cover. There were roller shutters as well as a toldo and a super efficient air conditioning unit. Unfortunately the advertised coffee making facility was not provided and we never got it during our 4 night stay either. There is no fridge in the room but a small one in the reception area for everybody to use. We were a bit disappointed that there was no small table included next to the armchair. That would have been useful. Also there were no shelves in the wardrobe. A double wardrobe with 4 clothes hangers but no shelves nor drawers is a bit puny. Entrance to the front door and your room is via a code which is an excellent idea. The hotel was very quiet even though it allowed dogs. The location is a short stroll from the harbour and beginning of the promenade and there are a number of restaurants and cafes, panerderias and a Más y Más close by. All in all a nice budget hotel. When you go to restaurants nearby ,note that they open quite late in the evening (7.30 at the earliest) and ask for prices up front. We ordered a bottle of house wine for a certain price only to be told after a while that only the more expensive one was available. That happened in 2 different restaurants The cafe at the corner does lovely tostadas for breakfast, it is just across the road. Several eateries in a side street leading to a plaza also more or less across the street from the hotel Superior room on top (4th) floor with high ceiling (lift stops at floor 3) is spacious with a lovely terrace If you bring your dog, you pay a deposit of €30 at the beginning of your stay, which will be returned provided your dog hasn't done any damage "

"Excellent hotel, I can only say good things about it. It is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and you can sleep peacefully and well. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the reception is always ready to assist with anything you may need. The food is delicious and varied, and children can always find something they like as well. There is plenty of fish and seafood, and there is always a local specialty, such as paella. But if you are in the mood for something else, there is still a wide variety of options to choose from. During our stay, we mainly met Spanish guests at the hotel, with relatively few foreign tourists. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. Everything is very child-friendly, and the beach, which is also excellent, is no more than a 5-minute walk away."

"Lovely hotel with 40 or so rooms all on one level, most with a private terrace next to the pool, half dozen with sea views. Seems like there are more pool lounge chairs than guests - not going to be fighting for a spot. “Room” service to the lounge chairs outside your room. Super chill and the staff are wonderful. One could spend the entire trip inside the hotel and miss the wonderful city of Gandia: don’t. Get out and explore. Highly recommend."

"I don't normally write reviews but they helped me so much to decide this hotel when I was looking, so I vowed to do it for everywhere I stay now. We have just returned from Villa Luz hotel (Late Oct/Early Nov). This was the last week before closing and was apprehensive that things would start slowing down but I was wrong and you wouldn't have thought any difference. The hotel itself is in a built up area of Gandia out side the Gandia town just under an hour away by car from Valencia airport. The facilities are great and to a good quality, the rooms are well equipped for what we needed with tea/coffee making facilities, soap/shampoo, hair dryer, TV, Alexa speaker. Highlights of the room are the shower! This is an amazing touch in a well equipped room. The staff are friendly and accommodating, speak Spanish and English which was great, I had no issues with any of the staff there and they were always there to help and were very friendly. The food is really good too with plenty of choice on the food and drink front. My concern when going all inclusive is always watered down drinks and cheap food but the hotel did not scrimp on the quality of the food OR the drink which is great and was very satisfied with this. The swimming pool area is good too, it has two pools, two jacuzzi style pools (the warmest of the pools) and two large slides, aside from the pool being cold (to be expected) this was a lovely area to relax and get involved with some games that the staff come round asking for guests to participate. Overall this was a great and much needed time away with my wife and 2 children and would recommend to anyone. My tip is to pay extra for the all inclusive plus as this gives you access to the Magic Beach Club a short walk from the hotel to the beach where they serve drinks and snacks (crisps, olives etc.). This was an amazing extra at the beach and when ordering through EasyJet this was relatively cheap per person and also gives you extra perks like access to the gaming room which was great for the kids (you have to book a 30 minute slot through an app). My constructive criticism of this hotel are minimal really. We had a great time and the hotel is great for small families or even couples wanting to get away, I would say it's more catered for families with children personally. The meal and entertainment times didn't suit us as a family. Breakfast was from 7:30-10:30am which was spot on, lunch 1:30-3:30pm and dinner 7:30-9:30pm which then led to entertainment (including kids entertainment) at 10:00pm. There was some bits going on through the day but a minor criticism for us was the entertainment after a long day of enjoying your holiday was a little late in the day for us but it certainly didn't deter our experience of the hotel, we just adapted to it. The area at this time of year was a little on the quiet side with not too much going on, most of the bars and shops were closed, we found heading toward Gandia town was more open but with it be"

"We just got back from holiday.We are a marriage with a 15-year-old child and we have been 10 days... Generally, you have responded to what we expected and we have been very well.I wanted to write about some aspects of our stay. The rooms were comfortable, but with little room to keep clothes or shoes.They were cleaned very late while we eat. The pool is not bad, but in the half of it you don't stand.A few hams and many people booking them with towels.Without a helper and without access control. The pool bar was only open at the last hour and forced you to go inside the hotel to ask for the consumption. The very repeated meals, had space in the bands for more variety but did not use it.Break in cut breakfast.Many tails since each service started.In 2026 with the existing technology we had to always carry the The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. "It's located right on the seafront. The air conditioning works very well. The hotel staff is excellent. The pool with jacuzzi is comfortable and charming. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming for those of us used to fresh juice and a good espresso in the mornings. However, overall, and because of the excellent service, we'll be back!"
