We returned today after a week at Hotel Geier. Can’t praise this hotel highly enough. Very clean, lovely views, perfect location.Really good breakfast choice. All 3 receptionists whilst we were there were so helpful and couldn’t do enough. Thank you for a great stay

Just had a weeks stay here and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is family owned by, Ugo and he was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. His mother, Virginia was very sweet, but doesn’t speak any English (why should she) so it is best to speak to Ugo We had room 202 and it had a view of the harbour and side, it was a large room with a double bed and two singles. Plenty storage and plug sockets. We were slightly concerned that we would be disturbed by noise from the road and neighbouring restaurants, but the double glazing was fantastic, couldn’t hear a thing. The air con was also very good, sometimes it would stay on even with the windows open. The breakfast was adequate, we just bought some tomatoes to add to the breakfast. Teapots were provided which saved getting up and down for refills. The hotel was spotless and rooms cleaned daily. If you do not wish to be disturbed, use the sign provided to hang on the door. Downstairs in the foyer there is a fridge, which guests are able to use, this was very handy as there’s no fridge in your room. Advisable to take a travel kettle, if you like a cuppa in your room, as there’s no facilities provided. We didn’t have a balcony, but on the first floor, overlooking the lake, there is a communal balcony, providing tables and chairs. We used this in the evening, a lovely area to have a glass of wine/beer. The location couldn’t be better, bus stop a few yards from the front door to Garda etc and opposite for buses towards Riva. Bus tickets were available from the newsagent opposite the harbour. The lake ferry was only 5min walk. There’s a grocery store, Coop, 5 mins walk. Beach 2 min with a bar and for 20 euros you could hire, 2x sun beds & parasol, (which was well worth it for comfort as it is a small pebbled beach. (Lake shoes are a good purchase too, makes it easier to walk) Good walk along to riva along a good path, but beware of bikes, they do tend to weave between pedestrians at speed and do not heed to dismounting outside to hotel in the harbour area. Wonderful breeze that developed as the day went on, was very welcomed. Watching the windsurfing was a treat. Beautiful place, with some good restaurants, bars and takeaways. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The local area is beautiful and has the most amazing views - we had a superior room with lake view from both windows which was well worth the extra cost. Hotel Geier is so clean and the owner and his mum so welcoming, There are no amenities as in a pool, bar or restaurant, however there is a restaurant bar next door and numerous other places to eat. . Nothing was too much trouble for Hugo and other than a language barrier with his mom she was really friendly too. All in all the nicest place we have stayed and we would go back in a heartbeat.

The Hotel Geier has many have said is a family run top end three star Italian hotel. The owner Ugo is an absolute gem of a man so inviting & friendly & his dear Mum a darling. Ugo couldn't do enough to help & make our stay so special. We had a superior room which had a lake view absolutely stunning every morning. The room was spotlessly clean & cleaned daily, there were plenty of power points, clean towels if required daily, the double glazing was excellent & the AC worked extremely well for a great night's sleep. We took a travel kettle which suited us fine for an afternoon cuppa. The room was very spacious with loads of storage space. The resort is on the North end of the lake with a steady breeze all day. The temperature for our week was an average of 34 C but with the breeze made it manageable even at midday. There is so much to do round & about whether walkers, cyclists, windsurfers or just tourists. The local tourist information provided us with so much knowledge about the local area & even further afield to places like Venice. Nothing over priced & we always felt we had value for money. We never had a bad meal there every restaurant we ate in provided very good quality food. The Geier restaurant next door to the hotel gives a 10% discount the hotel guests. Geoff W

Personale gentile, bagni puliti e in ordine. Qualità prezzo nella norma.
