Park Hotel Oasi
7.1 (33 reviews)

Park Hotel Oasi ★★★★

📍 Via della Pace, 18, Garda Town

"Very disappointing. The hotel is very old fashioned and doesn't worth a 4 stars. The rooms were relatively small, and the bathrooms very outdated (cracks in the tiles, old shower faucets (risk for burns), mold in the showers, etc.) Asked at the reception to remove the mold, resulting in a discussion between the receptionist and the cleaning lady, after which the cleaning lady comes to our bathroom and starts cleaning the shower with... the toilet brush! When it is said that this is disgusting, we get the answer that the toilet brush will be replaced. :-( Furthermore, the tiles were broken on our terrace, we saw a hotel guest bringing a broken lamp where he was asked to replace himself and we regularly fell through the loungers around the pool. During our 10 days stay we were given the same menu from day 7 as the week before. Positive impression of the swimming pool, we couldn’t get our kids out of it, and very enthusiastic staff of the restaurant. The staff is doing a great job to keep this hotel open. Really, this hotel needs a make-over quickly. 4-stars is very overrated, you better go to the 4-stars hotel at the other side of the road. "

Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda

Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda ★★★★

📍 Via Monte Baldo, 9, Garda Town

"Hotel was perfect from start to finish. Lovely modern hotel inside. Modern clean comfortable room. Every member of staff attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Hopefully they all have a well deserved break when hotel closes for season at end of October . They really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We were half board and the selection of food for both breakfast and evening meals was excellent. Food was excellent along with the selection of wines and drinks. Although the hotel is not lakeside it’s a very short stroll down to the lake. Major bonus is the hotel has a heated pool on the roof and you get an amazing view of the lake from the pool bar. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Garda. Thanks again to all hotel staff for adding to our wonderful holiday in Garda 😀"

Hotel Marco Polo

Hotel Marco Polo ★★★

📍 Via dei Cipressi, Corno, Garda Town

"Dirty and funktafied smell. Old and dated with no air-conditioning in our "Bungalow". After a few hours of rain the kids bedroom ceiling was like waterfall. Left 2 days early. Terrible! The pool we used hadn't been cleaned in a week but the ducks loved it."

Casa Cavour Garda
8.8 (6 reviews)

Casa Cavour Garda ★★★

📍 5 Via Cavour, Garda Town

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Due to delayed flights we had to stay in Garda a night before moving on. So we booked this hotel at 9pm at night and the staff were so accommodating. It’s in a great area. I’m now sorry we only got to stay for one night. I will be back for a longer stay! "

Hotel Astoria

Hotel Astoria ★★★

📍 Via G. Verdi, 1, Garda Town

"booked this hotel last minute and so glad we did, staff very friendly and helpful, we e.mailed them as soon as we booked to ask them if they could arrange a taxi for us from Verona airport an return, response was so quick and efficient, reception area on arrival was very roomy, reception staff very polite and helpful, as our room was not quite ready as we arrive very early, so they held our luggage for us in a secure lock up while we explored the area until our room was ready, rooms very clean and modern, only little niggle was, although spotlessy clean and in working order, the bathrooms are still a bit dated, but that's just a small niggle, as like i say they are spotlessly clean and work well. breakfast was plenty to eat with a choice of cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, and also cold cooked meats cheeses, jams etc. beautiful fresh rolls every morning, juices, coffees, teas, and was so lovely to have a outside eating terrace overlooking the beautiful lake. Hotel is right on the lake front, so what more could you ask for, we will definitely be returning"

Hotel Excelsior le Terrazze

Hotel Excelsior le Terrazze ★★★★

📍 Via Guglielmo Marconi, 4, Corno, Garda Town

"Very nice comfortable and clean hotel. Lake view is magnificent. Nice breakfast. Good parking. Excellent position. Pool is not big but enough. Needs better pillows selection."

Sporthotel Olimpo
7.9 (19 reviews)

Sporthotel Olimpo ★★★★

📍 Via Emilio Salgari, 2, Garda Town

"We spent two nights passing through Lake Garda and went to the Arena in Verona in the evening. Given the reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our two rooms were obviously relatively recently renovated and fully met our expectations. Our teenagers were particularly impressed by the pool. Breakfast was also better than expected. Everything was there, even if the coffee wasn't great. For dinner, you can choose between three dishes for the starter and main course – it was really good."

Hotel Cortina

Hotel Cortina ★★

📍 Corso Italia 103, Garda Town

"Awful hotel, only the location is5/5. One man (owner?) is unpolite: he loves german turists but other are like second class turists. He yells which is not good customer service. There should be more english instructions in the hotel. If u need breakfast box be ready that he dont want to give u that. Rooms are oldish and one buf I saw there. If u go there keep your clothes inside luggage. Cleaners dosent come everyday and they dont want to do their job like chaching towels or vacuuming the floor. I paid over 800e for one week and should know this before that cleaners are just waiting your tip. Ps. If u dont want to be cleaner change your career. Its your problem"

Hotel Centrale

Hotel Centrale ★★★★

📍 Via M. Abrile, 11, Garda Town

"Hotel right on the lakeside, some of the staff a little surly. Our room was at the back of the hotel but we had the best night sleep and the whole of the water front was quiet at night. Air con in all rooms with a safe. Lots of little bars, cafes restraunts."

Locanda San Vigilio Hotels in Garda Town

Locanda San Vigilio

"The first time I was at their restaurant was for a work dinner 2 years ago. At the time all was good and I wanted to go back now with just my husband. I called four times on different days to make the reservation and the lady who answered me told me that she could not make the reservation in advance as they would have to prioritize guests, asking me to call on the same day from 11am. So I did and she told me that the restaurant was full and that she couldn't accept my reservation. On the day, August 21st, I had an aperitif in the tavern next to the restaurant and my surprise was when I saw that the restaurant was not full all night and on the terrace not even half of the tables were occupied! I went to reception and asked to speak to the manager. The lady at reception refused to call him/her and told me that I would have to speak to her. I politely explained what had happened to which she replied that the restaurant was not actually full that day, but that they could not accept more people due to the capacity of the service. What??? It's August and they don't have staff to service the restaurant, which isn't even that big??? The behavior of the lady and especially the arguments used every time I called were unacceptable and which turned out to be untrue! Without a doubt I won't be back!"

Appartamenti Pratone Hotels in Garda Town

Appartamenti Pratone

"We stayed here for a couple of nights. The apartment itself was very comfortable and modern. There is a gentleman who comes around in the evening from a local bakery and takes your order, which will be outside your door in the morning when you wake up with delicious, freshly baked goods. There is a restaurant at the top of the hill, but it is very basic. The only downside was that the swimming pool had signs saying 'silence,' and one particular woman, whom I assume lives in the complex, was complaining if the children made noise in the pool, being very angry and aggressive about this. So if you're traveling with children, they are not allowed to make noise in the pool. Good luck with that one!"

"The welcome was very warm! The nice lady at reception explained everything to us and offered us a welcome drink. We were then taken to our room and given a few useful tips. Since you can choose and put together your breakfast from a very extensive list the day before, you won't miss anything. If you have forgotten or overlooked something, that is no problem. It will be delivered by friendly staff. Our room was clean, big enough and we had a very nice view of the lake. The cleaning was carried out in the morning and was also fine. You can't say anything negative about the pool area either. It is beautifully laid out and invites you to relax. A small snack is also served in the afternoon. Since there were no naughty or shouting children present during our stay, we were able to relax really well. Just great! We then extended it for another night. It would be very nice and desirable if this house were turned into an “adults only” hotel. Then subsequent vacationers could also enjoy their time here. We really enjoyed the days and nights in this hotel and will definitely come back!"

"Just got home from 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. We arrived in a heatwave - 40° unfortunately the Italian government impose an air-con limit of 23° ( the hotels auto setting was 26°) so it never really got cool and was quite uncomfortable some nights. Despite this our room was very modern, spacious with a large balcony and bathroom with lovely walk in shower. We had a junior suite in the new wing, it was spotless and the cleaning ladies worked extremely hard keeping everywhere tiptop. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful but was more or less the same every day, more sweet choices than savoury. They do serve barista coffee which is great but the coffee from the machine was good as well. You order dinner at breakfast time from a choice of 3 starters, usually 2 types of pasta or a soup and 3 mains which were a meat, a fish or an omelette. There were usually 2 different desserts or ice cream or fresh fruit. The salad buffet was plentiful, a good choice of salads, cold vegetables, olives and pulses plus bread and rolls, everything was very fresh, but it was the same every evening. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented and always hot but not always to our taste. It was very reasonably priced to upgrade from B&B to half board and worked out a lot cheaper than eating out, although we did try a couple of local restaurants which were very good. The food in the bar at lunch time was excellent, huge portions and very tasty. We did think the hotel should have a dress code for dinner as quite a few guests of differing age groups and nationalities came for dinner in football shirts and cut off denim shorts. I think if you are going to a nice restaurant you should dress appropriately The pool area is really lovely and kept spotless with a grassed area to one side. There were quite a few small dogs which sat under their owners sunbeds around the pool for hours on end in the extreme heat despite signs saying dogs were not allowed in the pool area. Of course there were also the usual sunbed baggers who put their towels out at 8.00 and then appeared sometime in the afternoon to use them. A polite notice does not stop these kind of people and there were plenty of beds so no need to reserve them at all. There was live music twice a week in the evenings on a terrace outside which we enjoyed. The location is brilliant, a good sized supermarket just across the road which sells everything you could possibly need. There is a little short cut directly opposite the hotel which takes you straight to the lake front where you can explore the promenade and quaint old town streets at your leisure. Garda is a beautiful place and we would definitely recommend this hotel."

Hotel Villa Ca' Nova Hotels in Garda Town

Hotel Villa Ca' Nova

"Located a little outside the centre, it ensures quiet and quiet on board the pool or in the very well-treated garden surrounding the structure. Guaranteed mental and physical rest. Only 10 minutes walk and you'll dive into the crowd that suffers from the city centre. A 3 stars enriched with elements that improve the standard."

Poiano Garda Resort Hotel Hotels in Garda Town

Poiano Garda Resort Hotel

"Poiano is lovely friendly resort hotel. If you don't have your own transport, it might seem that the hotel is a little out of the main town centre, but the free shuttle bus solves that problem instantly. The views from the resort are spectacular, and its wonderful just to able to sit outside, especially in the evening and relax, have a drink and see the wonderful scenery. We arrived after the normal evening service had ended, due to travel problem, but the hotel staff were waiting for us and still presented us with a great evening meal. Those little touches mean so much, and make staying somewhere like this hotel special. We also had to leave early, before the normal breakfast time, but again the hotel made sure we had some "food to go" and weren't left hungry."

Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa Hotels in Garda Town

Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa

"Amazing trip to Lake Garda in September 2025 staying at the Regina Adelaide. My husband and I would typically opt for a more modern hotel than the Regina Adelaide however, this is an absolute gem of a hotel. The decor fits in beautifully with the building. We stayed in a Junior Deluxe Suite which was a great size and included everything you needed for an extremely comfortable stay. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily with a turndown service in the evening. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis however, due to extremely unpredictable weather at night we did eat in the hotel 4 nights. We ate in the Adelaide and the Regio Patio Restaurants and the food was just a delight. The Regio Patio was a fabulous gastronomic experience where Chef Andrea Constantini and his team have created the most amazing flavours, textures and esthetically pleasing menu. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff were just wonderful and I need to make a special mention to Priscilla. from the American Bar. Priscilla was just a wonderful host. We did use the Spa Facilities and had a fabulous massage and facial. Highly recommend but book when you arrive as slots do fill up quickly for beauty treatments. The hotel is well situated within Garda and just a few minute walk from the Bus Terminal and a 10 minute walk to the Water Taxi jetty. A great central location for exploring the lake."

Ca' Barbini Resort Hotels in Garda Town

Ca' Barbini Resort

"Our family of four, including our 6 and 8-year-old children, had an outstanding time at Ca'Barbini. We were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and accommodating staff from the moment we arrived. Everyone, from the reception team to the waiting staff and drivers, went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The staff always seemed happy, which added to the positive atmosphere of the hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with a lake view; the room was clean and spacious. The mezzanine level was a hit with our girls, who loved making it their own living and sleeping space. The layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The hotel felt very safe, as did the whole of Garda, giving us peace of mind throughout our stay. We also took advantage of the hotel's spa, which provided a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The infinity pool offers an amazing view of the Lake, but it's not heated, so it was very cold to go in at this time of year. The fantastic free shuttle service was a really welcome service to/from Garda's central bus stop. It was incredibly convenient and made exploring the area so much easier. The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting surrounding towns like Bardolino, Lazise, Malcesine, and Sirmione via bus or ferry. Garda itself is lovely, with plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Our kids particularly loved the family-friendly atmosphere and the beautiful lake views. Although we didn't eat dinner at the hotel restaurant due to the limited vegetarian options for my wife, the breakfast was fine and offered a good variety to start our day. We highly recommend Ca'Barbini to families looking for a welcoming, safe, and convenient place to stay while exploring the stunning east side of the Lake Garda region. We would love to return one day!"

"Dreadful. Very dated. Shabby Miniscule shower On a plus bar staff were lovely. The waiting staff in the 'restaurant not so much. Given a time for dinner. Had to pre order food at breakfast. Which I hate! Thus is supposed to be 4 stat it's more like a 1 star and I'm being generous. Long walk in the town itself however a local shuttle bus runs regularly and it's free. Breakfast was fine with a wide selection of foods. Evening meals were disappointing. Fish or some sort of meat or veggie option.First course pasta or soup. All flavourless. Overall very disappointing 😞 ."

"booked through jet2 after checking on trip advisor for a hotel that couls deal with coeliac. After contacting the hotel and they said no problem we booked. Lovely hotel our room was clean and the beds were very comfy. We had a small balcony with no view but e expected this. the bathroom was modern and shower was always hot. room cleaned daily. The food was very good breakfast buffet everything you could think of. My hubby has gluten free bread that was wrapped up. evening meal was booked at breakfast time and the resteraunt manager went through it with my husband to say what he could have. The meal started with a self service salad buffet then waiter service for the next three courses. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Received a voucher for a welcome drink when we arrived and a booklet with free trips. we did three trips Madonna della Corona which was a church built into the cliffs with an interesting talk by the guide. boat cruise across Garda getting off at Salo for a walk round.and the Vapoicella wine tour. wine tasting included. the pool area on top of the hotel was a lovely area and looked over the lake. We spent time through the day walking. Flat walking along the lake to Bardalona where there was a wine festival on for the week. walked up the Rocco trail and the madonna monument which was a tribute to soldiers killed in the war. Good weather but bit cold at night when we had a walk out after dinner. Little streets are lovely and some smashinf little shops."

"I could not fault this hotel for its location and service. My room was basic but very clean and I had a lovely balcony to relax. The hotels terrace with the lake view was just stunning. As a female solo traveller the only slight thing that bothered me was the three minute road up to the hotel at night time was very dark but that is not owned by the hotel."

"Wonderful location with a fantastic view of Garda and Lake Garda from the balcony. We stayed in the apartment complex, renovated in 2024. It's a spacious apartment with comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony with a view. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the complex. There's a good pool, always a sunbed available, a delicious cappuccino in the morning, and friendly staff. And it's all within walking distance of the lake and town center. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle, or simply relax at the complex."

"Terrible hotel. Only good thing is the location: bus station and centrum is near. The customer service was bad and the hotel owner man tried to blackmail from us 150 euros for nothing. He yelled us all the time and watched we came to hotel. Very strange. We had anniversary trip so it was so dissapointing to be there. I gave feedback from the awfull "customer service" but the man was prideful. The cleaning stuff didn't do they work anf tried to have us more many. They didn't do the basic cleaning stuff as change towels, didn't vacuumed the fitted carpet floor, throwed my clothes on the floor and moved all the time our luggages (for what? Don't leave any valuable things in the room). In first day we saw moth in the room. Lower than 2-star hotel, I say. Breakfast is not buffee as they claim. Breakfast room is full 9-10 and u have to wait for "ham-cheese-tomatoplate" and service. There is other choices in the town. I don't recommend this hotel. The Garda town is althought beautiful."

"The only saving grace is its location 2 minutes walk to the lake but no views from the hotel it looks onto a busy side street and the outside space is a tired and unkempt courtyard which the staff use to park their motorcycles and take their breaks. The rooms were clean and reasonable size but our room had no window so very dark there’s not much privacy on the very small balconies which looked in need of some repair and a lick of paint. The bar is tiny no bigger than a snug and the house wines were almost undrinkable the house beer wasn’t much better. Apart from Sonia the only female waitress and the cleaners the rest of the staff were not particularly friendly and the manager seemed unhelpful and at times rude. Not sure why he’s in the hospitality business as he really didn’t want to be there we nicknamed him Basil. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal wasn’t good. One night I was given a very small square of fish that had obviously been under a heat lamp so hard on top and slimy skin the potatoes were black as was my friends meal so we sent it back but no apology or offer of an alternative so we ate out after that. The restaurant had no atmosphere and felt like a canteen rather that a 4 star restaurant very stark with no decor. We travelled with Great Railway Journeys and some of our group had rooms at the front but had to keep the windows closed due to the noise of the road. We were directly above the kitchen so we were woken most mornings at 5 am by the staff who made no attempt to keep the noise down. There is no on site facilities or entertainment of any sort the sister hotel does have a pool but for those people with limited mobility it’s a good 10 minutes walk. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in especially as it’s been given 4 stars. Unless you just do bed and breakfast for one night I would go somewhere else."
