Quick weekend trip to Yellowstone and Super 8 was just perfect. It is exactly what it is billed as...a clean, convenient, and friendly hotel. Super 8 had signs all over the hotel about the practices they have put in place to help reduce environmental impact. Our kids enjoyed them and us parents were able to tie in lessons to how even little steps (like vending machine only offering recyclable aluminum and no plastic water bottles) to bigger steps of solar power help protect our environment. It wasn't preachy, but just educational and showed commitment of the ownership group. We loved going from the National Park where we just had discussed our gratitude at those before us who worked to protect these special places and then be at a hotel that's also working to minimize their impact. As a note - Breakfast was super basic. Coffee, Tea (but good quality, not lipton), Juice machine and a few different flavors of Muffins. With that said, the staff was very clear upon check-in that it was only muffins so we were able to set the expectations of our kiddos which was a huge help! It was perfect for the kids and literally across the street is a well to organized grocery store. In a hurry to grab more protein options for the drive the store had some great "ready to go" signs throughout the store which was clean and organized and I was out in a few minutes. So for a family, we actually loved this option of being able to quickly get something at hotel, or more at store and not get stuck for 30 min while our kids feel the need to make waffles. Highly recommend location, Super 8 and Starry Night Lodging.
