"The hotel in Yellowstone was suddenly canceled because of the shootings two days ago. We could only book this hotel temporarily. It is outside the north gate. The town is small but has everything it should have. The hotel room is quite clean. Although there is no breakfast, there is a microwave and oatmeal provided, which is quite good."

"Facilities: The furniture is 80% new and the experience is very good. Except that the towels are a bit small and thin.
Hygiene: clean and tidy.
Environment: As a MOTEL type hotel, there is an internal driveway and green belt in the middle of the road, so the car has no impact. The backyard is beautiful and cute, next to the Yellowstone River, you can have picnics and barbecues, and have a great breakfast experience facing the Yellowstone River.
Service: Warm and warm, convenient check-in and check-out procedures, bought a few postcards in the front desk shop. 6 pieces are reasonable for $2."

Travelodge Gardiner – Convenient Base with a Few Quirks
A great location just minutes from Yellowstone’s North Entrance and close to Gardiner’s shops and eateries. The room was clean and comfortable, with basics like a mini-fridge and coffee maker.
Free coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Nice mountain view from my room (level 3).
A bit odd: the microwave is located outside in the corridor, not in the room. Also, no breakfast is provided."

"According to the itinerary, this motel in North Gate of Huangshi is very close to the gate of the north gate, but it takes nearly half an hour from the north gate to the hot spring. The room was large and looked very clean, but at night there was a bug that jumped on my mom's face! The hotel does not have breakfast, there are free coffee, tea and chocolate, the front desk recommended to go to the restaurant 2 km away for breakfast, but given the bad experience of the first day of dinner or give up. Parking is free and you stop outside your room."

"It's like a home, the kitchen utensils are complete, there are tableware detergent, the location is very good, just 100 meters from the supermarket, we made a dinner ourselves, but there is still something for the last guest in the refrigerator.
I don't like their bed very much. The sheets are local patterns, but I feel that they will not be changed. The quilts in the United States are layer by layer, and there is no quilt cover. I used disposable sheets myself.
The next morning, an elk was eating grass at the door of our room, very pleasantly surprised."

There are parking lots, tea bags, and hot water. I booked a month in advance and gave a big discount. Go to Huangshi Mammoth Hot Spring is very suitable for staying in this hotel, remember, before dark, you have to arrive at the hotel"

Welcome to Yellowstone Retreat Rentals! Built in 2021, our two bedroom one bathroom apartments carry all the necessities you need to visit Yellowstone. The apartment is located only four blocks from the historic Roosevelt Arch, the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We are also located a few blocks from Arch Park, which provides grills, a gazebo and picnic tables, and the neighborhood elk that tend to hang out there. With our convenient location, you will also be close to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants our little town has to offer. We have BRAND NEW MATTRESSES delivered in April of 2025.
As mentioned above, each unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It also has a laundry room, washer and dryer, with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided (nice for those guests who have been traveling for a bit!). There is a queen bed in each bedroom, and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. We provide extra blankets, pillows, and sheet sets for the sleeper sofa. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, as well as hairdryer and towels provided. We have a full kitchen with a full size oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. All of the basic kitchen essentials are provided along with dish soap. You cannot carry bear spray on the airplane, which is why we provide it for you! It is located above the microwave in the kitchen. Parking in Gardiner can be a struggle - not here! There is one parking spot per unit provided, right in front of the building. There is also a paved handicapped spot right in front of our ADA unit for those in need of it.
Some important things to note :
*We DO NOT provide cable TV. We have Smart TVs and you have the ability to log in to any streaming service you carry. We have the best WIFI plan available to accommodate our working travelers and those who want to relax with a movie after a long day in the park.
*Our air conditioning unit (our AC is not central air) is located in the living room, and tower fans are provided in the closet of each bedroom.
*If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend getting a top floor unit. We worked with our contractor to do all we can to prevent noise transference, but these are apartments with two upper units, and two lower units. We also enforce quiet time from 10pm-7am, and no parties are allowed at our apartment.
*For our ADA unit: The countertops and cabinets are lower, and there is no under sink storage in the bathroom or kitchen to accommodate our guests in wheelchairs.
We are a small family business, and love what we do. We take great pride in our business, and want to provide each guest with a 5 star experience! The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, as well as hairdryer and towels provided. We have a full kitchen with a full size oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. All of the basic kitchen essentials are provided along with dish soap. You cannot carry bear spray on the airplane, which is why we provide it for you! It is located above the microwave in the kitchen. Parking in Gardiner can be a struggle - not here! There is one parking spot per unit provided, right in front of the building. There is also a paved handicapped spot right in front of our ADA unit for those in need of it.
Some important things to note :
*We DO NOT provide cable TV. We have Smart TVs and you have the ability to log in to any streaming service you carry. We have the best WIFI plan available to accommodate our working travelers and those who want to relax with a movie after a long day in the park.
*Our air conditioning unit (our AC is not central air) is located in the living room, and tower fans are provided in the closet of each bedroom.
*If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend getting a top floor unit. We worked with our contractor to do all we can to prevent noise transference, but these are apartments with two upper units, and two lower units. We also enforce quiet time from 10pm-7am, and no parties are allowed at our apartment.
*For our ADA unit: The countertops and cabinets are lower, and there is no under sink storage in the bathroom or kitchen to accommodate our guests in wheelchairs.
We are a small family business, and love what we do. We take great pride in our business, and want to provide each guest with a 5 star experience! Unit A is in the "Brown Building". It's a compliant ADA Unit with wheelchair access throughout the whole apartment and a reserved, paved parking spot. Rental offers a king bed in the master and, twin over full bunkbed and futon in the second bedroom. Perfect for a restful night. Ample space in the living room to recline and relax. This comfortable space includes heating, AC, WiFi, and streaming TV for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is equipped with full sized stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It's fully stocked including pots, pans, cooking utensils various spices and condiments for meal prep., plates bowls, air fryer, coffee pot (and coffee), mugs, glasses, pot holders, dish soap, dish cloths and towels plus much more. There is an outside deck with a bar-B-Q grill just out the kitchen door. The dining room has a table and chairs, enough to seat 6 (extra folding chairs available if needed). The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with mobility assist bars, sink and toilet, a hairdryer, ample supply of towels and wash cloths and personal amenities for added convenience. Beautiful, spacious and private yard includes a deck, picnic table and bar-b-que grill. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Yellowstone, Gardiner and our rental have to offer. The rental is accessed by the rear entrance and ascending seven steps.
