Amenities are relatively old since it's not yet renovated to Leonardo style remains old furnitures. bedding and towels remains clean.

Fantastically located on the quayside. The hotel has parking spaces but these are limited and therefore I parked at the car park opposite Gateshead college, around 6 mins walk away. Tbh it was cheaper to park there than the hotel car park and not that far. The hotel itself is nicely presented and the adjoined bar on the ground floor also has outdoor seating so that you may enjoy the views. The views itself are very decent from the room I was in. The room was very clean apart from a few handprint stains on the wall above the toilet in the bathroom. They looked more like old stains which probably wouldn’t come out unless it was painted again. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have any, but the hotel provided a complimentary coffee voucher from the bar and also some money off food from their restaurant.
Overall a nice hotel and would stay again if ever in the area.

My partner and I were in Newcastle on Saturday night to go to a gig at the sage Had a couple of drinks in hotel bar beforehand, stella only 5.20 a pint , lovely well kept beer , corona also lovely Out side bar area amazing with lovely views over River Tyne Nice to see a group of stags enjoying there weekend there Lovely room , beds spot on , plenty room , well stocked tea tray and bathroom with bath and shower Staff very helpful Thank you

Hotel was just OK, breakfast was terrible, dinning room was dirty with no staff to clear away dishes so no where to sit clean. Coffee machine was not working asking a member of staff eventually to sort it out. Toaster didn't cook the bread at all. Must do better.

There is a lack of drawers in the room but plenty of unused space under the sideboard to put some and there are no shelves in the bathroom to put clothes on while showering. The restaurant and reception staff were rude apart from Quinn who wasn’t, he deserves special mention for helping get rid of a drunk who was bothering our group of ladies but why did the bar staff keep serving this man when he could barely stand?

Stayed here as had to head off to head office for meetings, I was on the first floor, the room was clean and had decent WiFi, a small shower and sink, all in all for the price paid it was decent, didn’t eat here though, also parked up the hill at £8 per 24 hours with a maximum stay of 72 hours.

Didn’t get much sleep due to the noise from the adjacent rooms but that’s not the hotels fault. Car park was full and it’s a longish walk up a big hill to the nearest car park. Good location for the glasshouse and just across the bridge to the city centre so overall good value
