Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside
"Comfortable bed, clean room (damp in the bathroom). Free waters, tea, coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Great location close to the Baltic Art Museum and other quayside attractions. Would stay again!"
Bowes Incline Hotel
"Lovely hotel very friendly staff comfortable rooms and fabulous food altogether beautiful breakfast good would reccomend"
Ramada Encore by Wyndham Newcastle-Gateshead
"The hotel is in a decent location but we had a bad experience staying there. The room was dirty on the floor and I noticed some marks on the bed sheets. We asked for a double but were given a twin and one of the beds was very badly damaged and could not be slept on, because the hotel was busy and we needed to get to an event, we could not change room. The shower in the bathroom did not have a door and so anytime the shower was used, the rest of the bathroom flooded. When going to our room late in the evening, we were stopped by a security guard. Initially, he did not state that he was a security guard and asked my partner which room she was staying and was quite aggressive - for obvious reasons, she didn't say where she was staying as this was clearly inappropriate and it was only after I challenged him that he said that he worked for security. The staff need to be better trained and state clearly if they work for the hotel up front."
Hilton Newcastle Gateshead

Delta Hotels Newcastle Gateshead

Mulberry Aparthotel Newcastle Gateshead

Travelodge Washington A1 (M) Northbound
"Clean comfortable room. Quiet. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Easy check in and out. Great value. Highly recommended. "
Embassy Newcastle, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
"The Embassy Hotel in Gateshead is a good value hotel and we had breakfast included. The breakfast was continental style with Instant porridge, a little watery, fruit, coffee and fruit juice. You could have a Pan Chocolat or a cereal bar instead. It filled a gap and saved having to spend more. The room was good and we got a double bed and three quarter double. I slept very well and my wife liked the other bed too. The bathroom and shower worked well and you get shampoo and soap thrown in. TV is around 30 inches with Freeview type channels. There were two chairs on the room but only one bedside table. We used a chair for another one. It would have been useful to have a fan in the room as the rooms seem quite warm, even with the window open. There is a themostate on the wall but it's not clear if it does anything. In winter there is an electric heater. There are bi sockets near the bed, so be aware of that fir charging. You can buy snacks at reception should you rush and there is a pub restaurant next door, which opens after 11 am. . One good thing us that there gs plenty of free parking but it gets fuller in the evening, due to pub customers. We didn't have an issue and it's nice to find free parking as many hotels now charge for this. Sleep was great, shower was great too basic over a bath but responded well to temperature changes. Towels soft bit scratchy. We gave said three times and there are some good deals to be found it you need to be in the Newcastle Area. There is the Metro Centre about a mile down the road if you don't get breakfast with Ihea and McDonald's etc, so you won't starve. The hotel itself is in a very good location just a minute off the A1 if you're heading further into Northumberland or down South towards London direction. The staff are very helpful and we checked in without an issue. If you ordered, and received breakfast from another site, not Best Western, make sure you show them the invoice including breakfast. Next time I think I would go to ZUkea for breakfast as it's good to have but not worth paying extra for, unless you want a bacon bap."
Rivers Hotel
"I stayed at this hotel last night on a work trip. I didn’t expect much due to the price but I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful and welcoming all the staff were. The room and bathroom were both comfortable and immaculate. My room was the sea view which was stunning. I went down for my dinner and the service, presentation and taste was some of the best Turkish food I have ever had. I had to send a photo of the food to everyone. I really look forward to staying there again when I am next up there for work."

I told her to call me but has not got any call, atleast if you are not giving let me know these are the basic ethics of Customer Service. Will not coming back if need, better to sleep in the car."
Travelodge Newcastle Whitemare Pool
"Hotel was nice and clean apart from a couple of bogies that had been wiped on the wall. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom door didnt shut but apart from that it was okay. The staff were very nice, the hotel smelt very clean and when you walked i to the room and bathroom you could smell that it had been cleaned. All in all, you get what you pay for and £58 for 2 nights, it was a good stay."
Coalminer's Cottage
Hoppers Cottage Guest House
"No hassle and well located (and priced). Good communication from Kim too. Noise from other guest could be an issue, especially on the ground floor but it wasn't really a problem for us fortunately. Bathroom door was a little difficult to shut but not a big issue. Handy to have a fridge in the room."
